[redacted] ***In negotiating with HyAltitude Contracting here's my offer: Originally I, [redacted] , sole owner of property in Rainbow Valley, Centennial, Wyoming contracted with HyAltitude Contracting, Russ S [redacted] , to reroof my mountain cabin with ProPanel II metal 29-gauge with a class4+rating for $13,I accepted that offer and in November, 2016, I paid 50% of the bid, $6,500, required at time of materials procurement Five months later, I received his final bill of $22, I am protesting an almost $10,over the original bid Here is my offer, assuming that all work is warrented: Original $13,plus $5,over-run minus$6,minus $6,which is due and payable upon acctance of this offer, I will pay $1,a month for months Thank you, [redacted]

As the customer indicates, we were under contract to reroof her cabin for a bid price of $13,000. Our contract also stipulated that any changes to the project would be billed at a "Time and Materials" basis. During the project, when I asked the customer about some issues, she instructed me to get approvals from her children because "they would know better than I would". As we proceeded with the project, the following items were added: 1) two new skylights with flashing kits were added; 2) carpentry repair of holes in the roof that were found at tear off where the roof had been previously built around old trees that were no longer there and were covered up by the shingles we removed, 3) strip and reroof with metal the outhouse which also needed carpentry repairs to allow the new metal to be installed. My company billed out the project according to the contract. After reading her original complaint, asking for $5,off the cost of the extra projects, I contacted the customer directly and offered to settle for a lower cost. She ended our conversation by saying that she would be in touch with me. This follow up conversation did not happen. Instead, she made a public display of the problem through the Revdex.com website once again. So, I would like to publicly respond. Judging from her rigid adherence to her original request, I can only surmise that the customer is part of the 20% of the population that I have dealt with who seem to think that they should be able to set aside a contract in favor of their own personal judgement of what the construction project is worth (or what they can afford). As a businessman with long term ties to Centennial, my concern for the value my customers find in our work is second only to my concern for the safety of my employeesIf she feels this strongly that there was little value in the work we did, I am not interested in any money for the unvalued extra work we did. I propose that she pay Hyaltitude Contracting the remainder of the bid ($6,500) she owes and we will close the issue. As a result of this proposal, the customer will get work valued at $9,for free. Sincerely, Russ S***, Owner/General Contractor, Hyaltitude Contracting

[redacted]In negotiating with HyAltitude Contracting here's my offer:  Originally I, [redacted], sole owner of property in Rainbow Valley, Centennial, Wyoming contracted with HyAltitude Contracting, Russ S[redacted], to reroof my mountain cabin with ProPanel II metal 29-gauge with a class4+rating for $13,000. I accepted that offer and in November, 2016, I paid 50% of the bid, $6,500, required at time of materials procurement.  Five months later, I received his final bill of $22,610.99.  I am protesting an almost $10,000 over the original bid.  Here is my offer, assuming that all work is warrented:  Original $13,000 plus $5,000 over-run minus$6,500 minus $6,500 which is due and payable upon acctance of this offer, I will pay $1,000 a month for 5 months.  Thank you, [redacted]

Here's what I want to clearify.  The original bid from the contracting business was $13,000.  I paid the first half on 11/21/16 leaving $6,500 balance.  On 1/17/17 I got the final bill as $16,110.00.  I would appreciate it if Revdex.com notifies HyAltitude of my displeasure and would...

request a $5000 (five thousand dollar) adjustment from the $16,110 leaving $11,110.
