I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I have received many apologies from the company (please see attached file as an example). Why would they apologize if they had done nothing wrong? I had already received the first treatment, and paid for it, long before this.I expected Hyde Park to come up with some excuses, but to resort to blatant lies surprises me a lot. I actually can afford $55 - it's the principle of the thing.

This is in response to Mr. [redacted]'s complaint:    We provided a service which was completed and paid for by the client. We feel the client misunderstood what was meant by multiple applications; one application will benefit a lawn in the short term, but in the long run you need to have...

multiple applications throughout the year. The result of the fall treatment ,which the client received, benefits the lawn in the spring. Since the client feels he was misinformed, we did offer a free application in the spring of 2016  (which he declined) and if he wanted to continue with Hyde Park Landscaping, he would receive 4 more treatments throughout the year or he could use another company for the remainder of the year and still have the same results.  We feel this is an acceptable solution to the complaint.  We do not give refunds for services that are performed and paid for; we consider payment as acceptance of work performed.   Hyde Park Landscape & Tree Service, Inc.

than what the customer was billed, he received great service (which he expressed when he phoned our office) at a great cost and his only complaint is the $49.00 tax.  We will not refund the $49.00 tax, his verbal quote from the owner of our company was $600.00 - $700.00 for the service (removal of a Locust tree)  which he was billed $700.00 for that service.   The only time tax is not added is when the customer is tax exempt and If this customer is tax exempt, he did not tell us or give us a tax exempt number / form.  Regards,[redacted]
