Our original inspection of Mr& Mrs***’s residence found the front foundation wall with structural concernsWe advised the ***’s that they should consider contacting a structural engineer before we or any other contractor offered a repair. We forwarded them a referral list of engineers by email to assist themAt no time did we say we could or would not offer a repair without an engineer’s reportA few weeks later Mrs*** contacted us to arrange another appointmentShe indicated they had hired an engineerWe made our inspection and submitted our proposalOur proposal offered a structural repair and to prevent moisture intrusion from entering through 47’ of foundation cracks and cold joints and Carbon Fiber Wall Brace StrapsThe pricing that is quoted above by Mr*** does not represent the price quoted in his proposal or what he paidBefore we were hired, Mr*** asked that we meet him to go over our proposal so he could better understand the repairWe met with the ***s and explained the method we were offering, they contacted us approximately a week later and hired us to perform the proposed repairsAlmost a year later Mr*** indicating his basement was leakingOur office manager met with Mr*** due to Mr*** being out of town at the time of the callThe basement had since been finished and He explained until the foundation was exposed we could not determine our repairs had or had not failedMr*** became upset, began using a provoking tone, name calling, language and accused our company of not honoring our warrantyAt that time, it was apparent it was better for to leave and allow Mr***’s tensions to coolA second trip was made by Mr*** to again explain to Mr*** there was no way to determine the cause of the water intrusion until the foundation wall was exposedMr*** removed a section of the finished wall where he believed the moisture was coming from and we made our inspectionMr*** water tested the area before our arrival to better determine where the leak may be coming from and we found our repairs had not failedMr*** agreed the foundation wall we repaired was dryMr*** tried to explain that the ground water was coming from a different source such as a clogged underground downspout or they could have a drainage issue around the foundationMr*** continued to name call and would not allow us to show him or explain the source of his water issueAt no time did we say that we don’t repair the type of drainage issues they may haveOur position has not changed because our repairs have not failedAs we explained to the ***s, we are more than willing to back up and honor our warranty as stated in the provided warranty. Upon our inspection, no warranted work has failedPlease note that our warranty does not cover removing or replacing finished walls

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. It is easy for mr. [redacted] to deny any wrongdoing.  All he has done is skip the part about the leaking that brought him here in the first place. He never saw 47 ft of cracks because the wall was covered with paneling on the first visit.  Sounds like it's my word against his. As far as using bad language and name calling. I'll admit that I was upset when he started "the runaround ", there was never any foul language or name calling.  His office manager admitted being nervous from some emotional disorder.  Another way to sidestep the issue as far as I'm concerned.  I'd  like to formally  state that I will never accept mr. [redacted]'s excuses concerning my basement.  Sincerely, Dan [redacted].

After thinking about this individuals last two responses concerning his poor workmanship,  I really don't want him back in my house. I prefer a refund of his waterproofing injection.  I am not disputing his application of the carbon fiber strips that he installed.  He just didn't...

fix the leak where I asked him to.  (Which was the MAIN REASON he was brought in.)  Thank you.
