Hydralie Ageless Moisturizer Reviews (%countItem)

Charged my credit card twice after a 'free trial offer.' Customer Service rep told me to 'learn how to read the fine print.'
12/25/17
Ordered a 'free trial' of a face cream from this company.
Order Number: ***
Although the fine print explained this was a subscription service, this was not explained in the confirmation email or in the shipping information.
There was NO follow up email prior to charging my credit card $99 one month and then $104 the next.
The credit card charge was unclear where it came from (stated "CG" and phone number was invalid.
When customer service was called, the rep "James" was rude and told me to 'learn how to read the fine print.'
I had to cancel my credit card to avoid further fraudulent charges

Desired Outcome

I want them to stop scamming people.

I agreed to try a sample product only. This company put me on a automatic shipment program. They will not refund charges. I've been scammed!
I agreed to try a sample product called AURORA BELLA. This was in July, 2017. When I received the "sample" it had the name Hydralie. I didn't realize it was different than what I had agreed to. Then this company, Hydralie, started sending me more products in the names of Hydralie and Vella Visage. I thought it was weird that they were sending me more samples, but I knew of the lady representing the company, and just thought they were more sample products. I had a lot of family emergencies going on, so thinking they were samples, I didn't realize there was a problem. I did continue to get more of these products sent to me, but it wasn't until the beginning of November that I noticed the charges on my account #XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX. I called the company listed on my credit card statement, 925-232-2564, to ask about the charges on my account starting back in July, 2017. That's when I realized that I never had received a sample. They took my credit card and started charging me for products that I never asked for! I also noticed that the charges were made from two different companies named PHN PRONTOSKINCREAM, and PRETTY BEGINNINGS. When I called the number associated with the charges, they said that they would credit back two of the charges from November, and another two from October if I returned them. They also said that if I reported them to my credit card company, that they would take those reversed charges back! I spoke with my credit card company who assured me they would credit me all the charges, but have since refused to help me because I hadn't followed the companies return agreement, and the company told them that I signed up! Not any proof that I signed up, because there is none! Also how could I have followed the return policy when I didn't realize I was being charge for what I thought were samples!This has been a horrible experience fighting this company. How can they get away with this? I NEVER signed any agreement to receive their products! Quite the scam they're getting away with! I will give you the exact charges and dates they were charged;
7/28/17 PHN PRONTOSKINCREAM $4.95
7/28/17 PRETTY BEGINNINGS $5.95
7/28/17 PRONTO SKIN CREAM $29.95
9/4/17 PHN PRONTO SKIN CREAM $92.36
9/4/17 PRETTY BEGINNINGS $99.07
10/4/17 PRETTY BEGINNINGS $99.07
11/7/17 PRETTY BEGINNINGS $99.07

11/29/17 PHNPRONTOSKINCREAM credited $87.41
11/29/17 PRETTY BEGINNINGS credited $93.12

Desired Outcome

I would like you to find a way to stop them from doing this to people! I was told that the company has not responded to your requests? Do you really think a company that's scamming people is going to call you back! I would love you if you could get my money refunded!

Hydralie offered a free trial of its moisturizing cream and, with no notice, enrolled me in a subscription service, charging me $92.36 a month.
On 8 September, I accepted an offer of a free trial of Hydralie's Ageless Moisturizer. I used my credit card to cover the $4.95 S&H. (Order #XXXXXX)
On 23 October, I received a package from Hydralie containing another jar of moisturizer. I immediately called the customer service number to ask about it. The service rep, Christina, told me that I was enrolled in a subscription service. I checked my credit card and saw a 19 October charge of $92.36. I argued that there was nothing on the webpage or on the purchase receipt indicating it was a subscription service. She told me that ALL their products were subscription. I asked why that wasn't upfront, visible, and obvious on the webpage. She assured me that the info was all there, all the way at the bottom of the webpage, under Terms and Conditions. (Sure enough, it was.)
I then noticed another charge from Hydralie (reflected on my credit card statement as Dermatstic Moisturizin 8772146378 NM) on 1 October for $87.41. When I asked Christina about that, she told me that the initial free offer allowed you only 14-days to return the product and cancel your subscription; if you missed that window, you were charged for the "free trial" cream.
Christina gave me the return info. I mailed the package off the next morning (24 October). I tracked it (my idea, not Hydralie's) through the US Post Office and saw it arrived at its destination on 27 October. I watched my credit card, but as of 1 November there was no credit from Hydralie, so I called customer service and talked to Christina again. I was told that it hadn't arrived. When I told her that I had a receipt from USPS, she asked me for the tracking number to confirm that USPS said it had been delivered. She agreed to refund me $87.41 for the cream but not the $4.95 S&H.
I then argued for a refund of the 1 October charge of $87.41 because of the "deliberately deceptive" marketing of the so-called "free trial." The rep agreed to reimburse me "her" 30% employee discount, of about $30.60.
Both refunds are reflected on my credit card.

Desired Outcome

I want a full refund for the amount I was charged for the "free trial" cream. I was charged $87.41 and was refunded $30.59. I want to be refunded the remaining $56.82. I also want the subscription nature of this website to be immediately and plainly visible on the front page and all terms and conditions be plainly visible before an order is finalized.
