The deposit that customers put down is used to purchase materials such as the foam blank, ordering fins, etcWe do not have a standard company policy that offers refunds on deposits, since so much work and expense is put into the custom orderIf the timeline has unfortunately not been suitable for the customer, we have always agreed to return the deposit; and we did communicate with the customer that we would give him his deposit/money back.

Review: I ordered a custom made surfboard through [redacted] from Hydrodynamica and made a downpayment of $375 through Paypal on February 9, 2014. I was told to expect delivery in May. Since that time I have been unable to contact [redacted] though I have emailed him several times, tried contacting him through their website and calling. All of my attempts to contact them have gone unanswered. I have begun the process of opening a dispute through Paypal but I am also outside the 45 day window to open a dispute. I am hoping that Paypal will be able to work with me on this but I am uncertain.Desired Settlement: Refund of $375
