We are sorry to hear that [redacted] did not feel we provided the service she deserved. We under stand her issue with her car has been frustrating. Upon review of her records she had the automobile serviced by two other well known companies in an effort to resolve her brake issue to no avail when she brought it to us. We are regretful that she did not proceed with our recommendations to repair the car by only replacing one of the two items needed to resolve her concern. We are also regretful that our follow up was an issue at any time during her repair visit. We would like to be able to provide the service she needs and understand that we can always do a better job with good feedback from our guest. Review: hyman bros advertises they will beat any unexpired [redacted] appraisal.They (hyman) did not beat my appraisal from [redacted]. I was told if I sold my car to [redacted] for that amount they would give me a $100. On 6-20-2014 I sold my car to [redacted] and brought a copy of the sales contract and a [redacted] unexpired appraisal to hyman bros and [redacted] the manager denied it because as he said "his appraisal had expired".The expiration date on his appraisal applies only when he is purchasing the car.Desired Settlement: I would like a written apology and a check for $100.00.

Response:

[redacted] came into Hyman Brothers [redacted] on June 10th,

2014 for an appraisal on his vehicle. [redacted] elected not to sell us his

vehicle on that date. During this visit no mention of a [redacted] appraisal was

made or presented. He was provided a written appraisal with an expiration of 7

days clearly shown. He returned ten days later on June 20th, 2014

with a bill of sale from [redacted] where he had sold his vehicle. Our policy is

that we will beat any current [redacted] appraisal. In order to achieve this, we

need the current [redacted] appraisal and vehicle present. [redacted] did not

give us the opportunity to purchase and “beat” his [redacted] appraisal.
