Hyndman & Peck Reviews (1)

I received a complaint for my business Oceanic Art Custom Tattooing on oct 30th, case ID: [redacted]
I cannot find a link on your site or anywhere to respond to my complaint.
 The complainant [redacted] filed a complaint against my business on behalf of his Niece [redacted]....

 This case is well documented on my end, I would like to submit my response however I cannot find a link (error 404 page not found) when I type the link provided in the letter.
I have pictures of the tattoo, original stencil, as well as screen shots of the vulgar messages on [redacted] and multiple [redacted] profiles of this family using to give my business as many poor ratings as possible (we have reported their multiple accounts to [redacted] as well)
Here is forwarded my letter to my lawyer as I am now taking action against the complainant and others involved for libel and false reviews.
My lawyer has already spoken to [redacted]’s aunt prior to this letter.
I have now received a letter from the Revdex.com regarding this problem I’m having with the [redacted] people.
As a recap, here’s what happened;
On Sept 11th [redacted] was tattooed by [redacted], She provided [redacted] the dates and script for the memorial tattoo for her mom.  [redacted] created an image, showed [redacted], when she then approved it.  Tattoo was competed, client was happy and left.
Approx two weeks later the client admitted her own fault and informed us the date was incorrect.  She asked to have an appointment to have the tattoo corrected. She was scheduled for Tuesday Oct 24th.
On Tuesday Oct 17th we received a complaint via [redacted] from a “[redacted]”.  Stating the font was bad and the tattoo looked “amateur” I’m assuming (most of his write up made no sense whatsoever) Message was very accusatory and vulgar.  Went on to call us names and say the tattoo was “horrible” despite the tattoo being the exact stencil.  The font choice was chosen by [redacted], who later decided the word “mommy” looked like “manny”.  We had offered to make the letters more obvious to their proper wording at no cost. This is an easy job and something we would offer to do, even though this was also client’s font choice.
On Tuesday Oct 24th [redacted] came in with her aunt and friend to have the tattoo corrected. Once they arrived they again began to complain. At this point we felt like we had been already misrepresented online so we offered to fix the font choice (the client approved it, we still have the original stencil).  Because of the vulgar messages and [redacted] posts calling our work “horrible” and amateur, also demanding to fix her own mistake for free, [redacted] then said he would have to charge her for the fix because that was her error and it will cost us additional supplies as well as his time to fix it.  They then became irate and proceeded to call us “rded”. They then left.
 On Thursday oct 26 We received one star ratings from both of his accounts (it is against [redacted] policy for an individual to hold two accounts). Also makes the ratings for a business unfair as well.  We received two reviews from a “[redacted]” as well. We checked the dates these two accounts were created, they were created that day, no other activity, sole purpose was to give extra false ratings and reviews.  Other family members and friends followed suit (none of whom had actually ever been tattooed here).
Since then we have had harassing letters via [redacted] to [redacted], myself and the business page. Also [redacted] posts from friends.
Basically we would have fixed both issues with the tattoo (even though we all agreed that the font choice, stencil approval and dates were all approved by the client)
Because of the aggressive and accusatory nature, as well as inappropriate language and name calling from this girl’s entire family we decided we would not offer our services for free. We would most certainly fix the font choice (that was the only possible issue that could have been debatable) the other mistake made by the client would have to be paid for by the client.
