products through reseller, dealers and
distributorsThe resellers, dealers and
distributors will add their value by providing the installation and local
services to the end customers, and in this specific case *** Inn as the end
user
After
receiving the notification from Revdex.com, we have conducted a
detailed research on this case and found that the accusation to Hyoco is
without base and believe that it is a misunderstanding for the following
reasonsAs Hyoco sells our LED Digital Signage to
resellers, dealers and distributors as finished products with warranty to these
resellers, dealers and distributors, and technical services through telephone
support
It is the resellers, dealers and distributors
that resell the products to the end customers and providing the installations
and local servicesIn most cases, Hyoco does not even have the knowledge of
who an end customer is
In this case, determined by IT Contractor hired
by the *** Inn, and through the assistance of Hyoco technical staff, that the
loss of communication between the end user’s computer and the sign was caused
by a mistake of the Installer, who was not hired by Hyoco, nor has any
relationship or dealings with Hyoco apart from the communications with Hyoco
technical staff during troubleshooting of this said Sign
As of the advertisement claim, which is also
false, that there is a need of a Default Image for the following reasons:
For diagnostic purpose
and to demonstrate that the Sign is operating properly by itself, a Default
Image has to be displayed on the Sign
In order to avoid the
infringement of copyright, it is a common practice a sign manufacturer will use
a copyright safe image that often is their own logo
Before a Sign is in
proper and desired operation, an end user will always have the choice of
turning the Sign to Off when it is not in troubleshoot and so avoiding the
displaying of the manufacturer logo
If requested, Hyoco is
more than happy to help installing user provided image as the Default ImageIn
this case, even when the communications to the Sign is established, the
technical staff of Hyoco still helped in changing the Default Image to one
specified by *** Inn
This displaying of Hyoco Logo serves no
advertisement purpose nor value to Hyoco for the following reasons
Hyoco sells Signs as
products through dealers/resellers and distributors, and not to the end users
Hyoco does not enlist
multiple dealers/resellers and distributors within a given region
Whoever sold this Sign
is already reselling Hyoco Sign and therefore a Hyoco customer
There
are five (5) parties involved in this case
Hyoco, the manufacturer
of the said sign as product, warranty on the combined hardware and software of
the Sign to the dealer as well as technical support via phone service

Apart
from Image National who is a reseller/dealer of Hyoco, the rest have no direct
business relationship whatsoever to Hyoco

Wednesday, November 4th a more detailed email has been sent to Unity
of *** Inn by the CEO of Hyoco, and requested a conference call with Unity of
Day Inn with the CEO and VP of Technical Services of HyocoWe are still
waiting for a response from *** Inn
