Hello, Customer wants the refund in cash, that is fine. Best Regards,Jimmy L*HYRATECH Cellphone & Computer Repair[redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[Unfortunately, the response from Hyratech is as dishonest as their quality of work and service.   The information in the response is inaccurate due to the following:1) When I brought the phone for repair I was informed that Hyratech will use original Samsung Galaxy Note II materials.  Later, the manager, Jimmy, refused to provide the proof that original Samsung glass was used. In fact, the business must have used any kind of glass they had on hand.2) The issue with the phone is not software related, but rather – the hardware.  When I brought the phone for repair, only the glass was shuddered, however, the phone worked perfectly fine with no software issues. When I picked up the phone, all I checked for was the glass – that seemed fine at the time.  I did not expect that my phone will stop working from such a simple repair.   When I was ready to use my phone however, in the beginning of next month (since I started a new phone plan), I realized that instead of repair the Hyratech broke my phone.  Also, I noticed that there are small gaps between the glass and the body of the phone on the sides.  This means that the glass used for the phone repair was not genuine and the quality of work was poor.  When I spoke to Samsung directly, they advised me that the phone’s digitizer must have been broken during the repair.  I should have contacted the Samsung earlier and had themdo the repair, instead of bringing my phone to Hyratech.  However, at this point, I am out of both, the phone – that was damaged by Hyratech, and the money I paid for such “repair”.  3) Contrary to business’s response, Hyratech had the opportunity to fix the phone.  When I originally spoke to an employee, Paul, about the issue on April [redacted] (the day before speaking to Jimmy), he refused to take the phone for repair and, instead, almost threw my phone on the counter.  The following day, Jimmy, the manager, told me that he was holding himself from throwing me out of his store.  I believe, that any customer would be intimidated by this turn of events, especially when I asked for a refund for a poor quality work that broke my phone.   At this point I was trying to cut my losses from this poor quality “repair”.Jimmy originally promised to give the money back that I paid for repair, if he will take “repaired” glass off my phone. I agreed for this refund to cut my losses, since the phone now completely does not work due to hardware issue, caused by “repair” and I do not trust Hyratech to do any more “repairs” and poor quality “fixes” on my phone. However, Jimmy, quickly rejected the suggested refund, once again proving to me that Hyratech’s management cannot be trusted.I hope you can resolve this issue and at least return the cost of the phone repair that completely broke my cell phone.  Thank you for your help.Your Answer Here]

Customer initially brought in a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 with a damaged front glass. The glass was replaced, phone was test and all worked without any issues. However customer bring back the phone stating that phone is "bricked" after 2 1/2 weeks and it does not boot to the software anymore. She only...

allowed me to look but not actually allow me to connect to our computer to further check the issue. The message on the phone points to a software problem. I advised her that this is nothing we did, but it is a simple fix that we can resolve for her (free of charge). She refused to let us fix the problem on account that she said "she cannot trust us to work on her phone". In our professional opinion, the problem she should us would be solved by re-flashing the firmware. Possible cause includes a failed update, which is quite common. As far as the refund goes, initially we wanted to refund her the amount that she paid and be done with it. However she wanted her phone back the way she dropped it off. working, but with a broken glass and pay for her damaged phone. That was impossible for us to pay her for the phone since we did not damage the phone, and it can be fixed for her free of charge within a few minutes, but she refuse to let us.To sum it up, customer bring back a phone that we replaced the glass after 2 weeks and claimed that we damaged her phone and WILL NOT give us the opportunity to actually fix whatever problem she have with her phone for FREE. Instead of having us fixing the software to working order, she wanted us to pay for the phone. It was a really unreasonable request that we were not able accommodate her.
