We at the Hyundae Hotel feel that this customer's complaint misrepresents the situation on several pointsFirst, the customer contends that she did not have any knowledge of a room reservationOn the contrary,
our records show that the reservation was made through Hotels.com, which suggests that the customer, in fact, had full knowledge of her reservation, because reservations through this website require customer to fill out their identity and credit card informationAn e-mail from Hotels.corn verifying this reservation is attachedSecond, Hotels.corn clearly states our generous cancellation policy by listing the date up to which there will be no cancellationfeeThere is a hour period before the reservation date in which a fee will be chargedFor example, if I want to stay at the hotel on 5/22/15, this disclaimer shows on the checkout page on hotels.com:

In this customer's case, she had a full month to request a refund, which would have resulted in a full refundInstead, she did not call our hotel until after the date of her reservation had passedPlease note that our policy for "no-shows," which would include this customer, is to deny refunds on the full amount of the depositThird, the customer called our hotel several times in which our Front Desk employee, who is trained to be as friendly and accommodating as possible, graciously gave the customer a refund for half of her room feeWe in management feel that this amount was more than adequate, especially considering that the customer's absence led to an unused room, which could not be rented Out during one of the busiest seasons of the yearWe are sincerely sorry to the customer for her financial situation, but we do not believe it is her right or our responsibility to refund the full amount of her deposit, considering that the customer had ample time to cancel her reservation ad our cancellation and "no show" policies are clearly listed on the website in which she made her reservationWe believe that we have made the fairest decision possible by refunding half of the customer's depositTherefore, we would appreciate if the Revdex.com kept these facts in mind while making its resolution
