I took my car in for service and was treated very well, issues were looked into and looked after. Will most certainly be returning for future service!

Dispute over warranty being declined on my 2011 [redacted] Limited.May, 2013 (37,968km)- vehicles towed to Hyundai to fix major oil leak- left front strut was leaking and replaced- oil pressure switch was leaking and replaced- work done was all covered under warrantyDecember, 2013 (41,360km)- vehicle stalled when I stopped at an intersection, started up and no warning lights were on- when I got home checked the oil and all was good- called Hyundai to make a service appointment- next day it stalled again when I came to a stop, started up to pull over and now there was an oil and check engine light on, stalled again before I could pull over and had to have it towed again to Hyundai- the engine needed to be replaced due to lack of lubrication and the left front strut was also leaking againHyundai told me the warranty was declined (3,392km after it was honoured). they claimed the last oil change was done at 21,500km because thats what the sticker in the window had written on it. Even though it was in 3000km prior because of an oil leak that was so bad it had to be towed in. I was stuck to pay for the cost to replace the engine ($8,239.00).[redacted]. I emailed the service manager of Hyundai of Regina ([redacted]) to ask a few questions but did not receive any response. I then emailed Hyundai of Canada. they replied and we had several email exchanges. I was looking answers to some questions and concerns.- Why was the warranty declined 3,000km after it was honoured?- Are all these repairs not directly related?- [redacted]?- Why is Hyundai not accepting any responsibility?None of these questions were answered. The only answer I received was, without receipts of an oil change Hyundai can not honour the warranty. They avoided answering any of my questions [redacted]. P.S.May 7, 2014 (42,690km)- Made another service appointment with Hyundai- noise coming from under the vehicle- oil and check engine light had come on- fluid leaking from engineI have no doubt the problems with this vehicle will be ongoing.Desired Settlementi would like a full refund of the cost I incurred to replace the engine ($8,239.00) plus a refund for the loss in value on a vehicle with a replaced engine ( a number to be determined later). I also would like my vehicle fixed properly and in good mechanical condition.Business Response [redacted], [redacted]. In speaking with the consumer there has been no oil and filter change to the vehicle since just over 15,000 kms. An oil service from the manufacturer's maintenance schedule would have had another one due at 21,000 kms 27,000 kms and 33000 kms. The strut replacement had no bearing on the engine failure nor did the warranty work performed at 37986 kms. Upon the major mechanical failure at approximately 40,000 kms the manufacturer had requested receipts of maintenance, Hyundai of Regina asked the consumer for copies of such receipts the consumer had stated that there are not any to report. Due to the lack of maintenance I am unable to assist the consumer. [redacted]Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)I talked to [redacted] from the [redacted] twice on Thursday May 15. He told me that *he would [redacted] call me back the following Tuesday to let me know what he could do. He also mentioned working out a deal to trade my vehicle in for something else, which I told him was a possibility. I never did receive a return call. They keep repeating that there was no oil work done. At 37,968km there should have been clean oil put in the engine, yet it says no such thing on the invoice. There were two leaks that needed to be fixed, the oil pressure switch and the left front strut( it says leaking badly on the invoice). If there was no oil added to the engine then it is the cause of the engine failure because of no lubrication at 41,360km. [redacted]Again, I will accept a full refund on the original price of my vehicle and a full refund on the cost to replace my engine. [redacted] Final Business Response [redacted] The offer still stands to help the consumer in attempting to trade customer out of his current vehicle into another. As far as the remaining of the concerns I will address them one last time [redacted], [redacted] -Oil/Fluid leaks- for the record when a strut is leaking it has "NO BEARING" on the engine the fluid coming from the strut is from the strut not the engine. They are not directly related. [redacted] -[redacted] We have performed all necessary repairs when the vehicle has been brought into the shop for repairs. I do have a question for the consumer, "Why no maintenance performed on the vehicle for over 23,000 kms? That is the responsibility of the consumer. The question why was the warranty declined 3000 kms after it was honoured? -The warranty was performed 3000 kms earlier because it was not a "Major Mechanical failure", for example only: if a strut, or radio, particular sensors, ball joints, power window switch etc fails on the vehicle "Hyundai Canada will not ask for service records" warranty is performed no questions asked.-However for Major Mechanical warranty work to be approved from the Manufacturer for example a Transmission or in this case Engine replacement, past service history is requested for "Hyundai Canada" to approve. In this case there had not been a complete oil and filter change in the vehicle in excess of 23,000 kms, this is why the engine had failed. Hyundai of Regina administers the warranties on the vehicle as per "Hyundai Canada's" guidelines. The "fluids" would have been topped up at 37986 kms. [redacted]

I was sold a vehicle with certain features that upon delivery and financing were not in the vehicleIn JAnuary 2015 I went to Hyundai of regina and worked with [redacted] as he had sold me my last vehicle. I was looking at trading in my [redacted] for a [redacted] brought in a 2015 [redacted] for me to look at. He said it was the only available vehicle that would fit my financing.I asked him if it had the soft top, he said yes. I asked him what options it had. He stated `Air, tilt, cruise.I told him that I was not interested as my [redacted] was fully loaded, air, tilt, cruise, heated seats, panorama sun roof and command start...it was a special edition. He said, no problem, they would install heated seats and a command start at no extra cost.I agreed to the purchase. As the weather got warmer I went to turn on my air conditioner...only to find the vehicle does not have air conditioning!I also then went to install my soft top, to which I also did not receive that on delivery as well. I contacted [redacted] immediately in both issues, He didn't believe me that the vehicle didn't have air or that I hadn't received the soft top. He asked me to bring it in so he could look.I brought the vehicle in and he was satisfied that no, the soft top wasn't hiding somewhere in the vehicle...(for the record, the box was 6 feet by 3.5 feet when I finally did receive it)[redacted] ordered the soft top and told me that they would get my vehicle booked in to have the air conditioning installed. That was back at the end of June. Today, August 18th, [redacted] has just texted me asking me to no longer contact him regarding this issue because they are not going to do anything about it. [redacted]Desired SettlementI want the air conditioning installed in my vehicle as agreed
