Review: I won the "Fiesta" ticket bingo on Wed. night 8/*/13 which was worth $599, $569 after their $30 tax. After a few minutes the attendant came up behind me and started counting out the money from one of his hands to the other very quickly shuffling through the 1 $100 dollar bill and many $20's that he had. I could tell he was a male even though I never looked at him by his voice. He counted it out loud and stopped on $575, which I thought was odd because I expected $599. I have only played bingo 2 times at this location so I am a rookie at it. I took the wad of cash in my haste because the next game had already started and I was still celebrating and put it in my pocket. When I got home I counted it and it was $455. The next day I called them and the owner called me back. After some discussion I found out I was $114 dollars short, but he said he could not help me get my money back because it was my work against theirs but thanked me for bringing it to his attention. But according to a friend that frequents that business the same thing happened to her the first time she won and also to a friend of hers.Desired Settlement: $114 refund and some assurance that something is being done to resolve the money counting procedures that these attendants use. It seems that people are being ripped off regularly.

Response:
received a letter of
complaint from your office at Revdex.com. The complaint ID# is
[redacted]. In response to this complaint! have enclosed a copy of the pull-tab in
reference. Fiesta Bingo pull-tab has a top prize payout of $500.00 not $599.00
as referenced in this complaint. After state taxes are taken out at 5% of
$500.00 the payout of $475.00 is made to the customer. I hope the complainant
can see that we as a company do take all complaints seriously and given' the
chance will always explain our position. I sincerely hope this issue will be
resolved with the information I am providing.

I am rejecting this response because : The Fiesta pull tab that I had clearly said $599 on it. My original statement is true. The male owner that I spoke to the next day said I was short by the amount stated on my original complaint but that it would be my word against theirs and that he could not help me in this matter. He said that I should make the attendant count it out correctly until I am satisfied that the amount of money is correct the next time. If he refused to count it out correctly, I should call for a manager.
If it was a $500 pull tab, why did the attendant count out $575?

I received a
letter of complaint from your office at RevDex.com. The
complaint 1D# is [redacted]. This is in response to the
customer's
last comment that the Fiesta Pull-Tab ticket was a $599.00
'payout when
he played it. There is no $599.00 Fiesta Pull-Tab in the
'state of Texas. I'm truly sorry Mr. [redacted] feels he was cheated but he was net.

I am rejecting this response because: [redacted] is wrong because the Fiesta pull tab that I won on was clearly marked $599 on the front in bold numbers. I told one of the ladies at the table that night about [redacted]' reply today and she also said the ticket had $599 on the front.
