I have been waiting for a partial refund of $33.00 since 2/25/18.
I have been waiting for a partial refund of $33.00 since 2/25/18. Due to the driving instructor *** canceling the driving lesson of 2 hours. She has stated she was putting in the mail twice, and almost 60 days later, a check arrives made out to cash. I have tried calling her, left messages, she doesn't answer her phone, and respond to texts. She left me a text after I explained that I can't deposit her check because it was not made payable to me, it was made payable to cash. She stated her checks have no problem and doesn't try to rectify the problem at all. I am very dissatisfied and want what is due back to me. *** has texted me twice apologizing because she forgot and then mails a bogus check that I can't do anything with. After leaving messages, she still does not answer or return my calls. This business is very unprofessional and I would not use them again nor would I recommend them to the public.
I would like to receive the prorated refund due back to me as agreed upon with merchant.

My name is *** co-owner & drivers ed instructor at I drive hand over hand driving school LLC. As stated by Mrs *** that I cancelled class for her son ***. Here is a text I got from her in April,
"Hi Mrs.,
I hope all is well. We've decided to get the pro-rated amount refunded for the 2 hours. Could you let me know about this, when you get a chance please?"
I did send her a check for the $33.00
prorated amount even though she cancelled a contract which was a package deal.
Mrs *** claims she cannot cash the check & stated she will send it back. I habe not yet received the check. I am preparing to send out one made out to *** who is the name person on the contract. We would like this matter resolved with any more undo hardship. As you can see that is Mrs *** son with his license which he obtained with us.
is lying about I cancelled the contract. She gave me the choice of the refund or rescheduling the 2 hours owed, that she canceled. After waiting for almost 30 days for her to schedule, we decided to request the refund she offered over the phone. I put her check back in the mail yesterday with delivery confirmation. Regardless she knows that check has not cleared her bank. A reputable business would have made this right without going to this extent. She won't return my phone call, but takes time to respond now.
