I went in a month ago and had my nails done, loved the result but my nail snapped. Didnt think nothing of it blamed myself, went back AGAIN to get them done and was sooooo unhappy. He applied the acrylic so thin I opened a store door walking in to the establishment and my nail literally popped off after a week. I checked the rest of my fingers and popped off the rest because the product was so think I would compare them to walmart press ons. When I tried to talk to the manager she told me that was my fault after upcharging me for nails that werent long at all. She then placed an employee on the phone and he continued to be rude and accuse me of it being my fault when my nail shouldnt have popped off doing something as simple as opening a door and not catching my hand on anything.

Hi my name is *** vo, I’m a manager at I love nails, on 10/2/19 we received a phone call complain about a broken nail , because it was already a week, we asked her to come in so we will fix if our forces, , but she never did, our shop opened a year ago still very new. We want the customer happy when we done, so they will come back, that wise we put sign all over the shop ( please check your nails before you pay) also when the customer pay we asked again to make sure the customer happy, but *** said good, as you know some people like the acrylic thick some like thin that what the technician asked because they do it, if she not happy all she had to do is let me know when she paid, also if the acrylic was thin, the only thing is easy to break if not careful, but never popped up like she said, because they put the clue on the fate nails before the acrylic, that’s why never popped up in a week like she said . Thank you

I am rejecting this response because:
They did NOT ask me how thick I wanted the acrylic. I assumed because they were charging me more for how long my nails were, as a nail technician he would know how thick youd have to go so they nail isnt weak. The technician quoted me one price then the manager quoted me another after she seen my nails. I AM NOT A NAIL TECHNICIAN. How am I supposed to know after leaving the salon it would be too weak for everyday tasks? I wouldnt hire a person walking the street to be able to know how much weight can go on support beams when building a building, how could they expect me to eyeball my nails and see they were week. Thats two expiriences there with weak nails. I didnt want them to fix them I wanted a refund because by time I called to complain about my nail breaking I was fed up and peeled the fake nails off. And after stating I didnt want them fixed I wanted a half refund back she hung up on me. If your going to upsell services and do a sy job you shouldnt be working with customers. His reason for the manager charging me more was that they had worked together in a better side of town where women usually wanted regular nail length acrylics instead of medium length which I had chosen WHICH WERE NOT LONG. The manager is upselling and the technician wasnt expirienced enough if he couldnt tell the acrylic was weak.
