Booked a princess for a 4th Birthday Party, three hours before the party, Nancy D***, President, left me a voice mail saying the princess was sick and could not make it If you want your child to be disappointed, book these peopleBy the way, it took her exactly three weeks to refund my $deposit to my credit card, I believe I only received it because I kept bothering her about it, she told me it had been refunded the Monday after the party and it wasn't, I do have emails, voicemail and credit card statement to prove

surprised and moved by your Pink Gorilla that she was laughing and crying at the same
time. It really cheered her up as mentioned she is re cooperating from knee surgery.

Thank you Nancy, we're referring I Luv A Party to all our friends The entertainment
you sent for our son's Communion were all amazing. The children as well as
adults had a great time with your magician Tony as well as Mickeys balloons
In addition your suggestion of a caricature artist was really amazing. Elena's
work just added that special entertainment for everyone. Everyone loved her
gift caricatures. It was all perfect so wanted to share our experience with
everyone.

for the terrific caricature artist, photo booth, d.j. and henna painter. Our daughter
said that this was the best party she ever had. My husband as well as myself

DO NOT TRUST this business or the sales person. They are in the business of providing entertainment services for parties including children's birthday party. I booked an entertainer for my son's 6th birthday - the sales person assured me they would be there on time but was very cagey about sharing names or details.
The entertainer came more than an hour late by which time our party was almost over. What is the absolute worst is that the sales person kept lying to me about what time the person would be there - the entertainer mentioned that he had been double booked and informed last minute.
And she now refuses to take my calls, did not once apologize or even offer any kind of compensation. I have never met such a dishonest, awful person!!!

It seems that this business has been revamped. I read the reviews and I had no experience like that. I wanted to let others know what a wonderful company iluvaparty is. Thank you so much for making our child's birthday party so special. My son is quite shy but your entertainer got him and all the children laughing and having fun right away with his games, stories, acrobatics and balloon twisting, wow, a really talented young man. All the children had a great time. We look forward to using you company again.

On examining our records we found the...

order for a party we did for a [redacted] who had a 1 year old
birthday party where there were children of a variety of ages. Our records indicate that we sent a seasoned entertainer who is requested by many for repeat business. He traveled to performed balloon twisting for some older children, games and music as well as a costumed character as requested for one hour.
It is commonly known truth that entertainment is subjective and what one person finds entertaining another might not which is
quite common in all forms of entertainment, movies, T.V., Theatre as well as children's and grown up entertainment. This is always stated to
all customers who 98 percent of the time are happy.

well as your children's entertainer Eva. She too was wonderful and kept the children
entertained with her remarkable balloon twisting, games and face painting.

What a wonderful service you have Nancy from I luv a party. Our friends were very

Wow, it was a blast to quote my grand kids. Thank you for the terrific magician, caricature artist and face painter you sent to our grandchildren's party.
Friends referred us to you and they were right. I luv a party is excellent. They

Wow, you were right about your singing telegrams. My wife was thrilled and moved by the pink gorilla I sent her on valentines day. Thank you to I Luv A Party for the excellent professional and fun entertainment you sent to our family reunion this holiday season. My whole family have been raving about the caricature artist, balloon twister and the very real convincing Santa you sent. As explained our kids are now getting to the point of not believing and I must say this did the trick. They really believe now.

I was hired to entertain at a party Oct 28th 2016 at a company in NYC I worked the two hours ..the client signed the work slip Nancy of I Luv A Party gave me and added an $85 tip to the slip. I have a copy. I have been trying to get paid ever since. She says ok and then never sends the check now she is only hanging up when I call. This is a warning to entertainers...get paid up front and cash check prior to working for this person. I will contact the client and will go to small claims court if necessary. I have been trying to get paid todays date is December 19, 2016. She currently owes me $285.00.

I am a respected entertainer for 30 years in the event business. I Nancy Douglass og I LUv A Party hired me to work 2 hours Oct 28, 2016 at a Halloween Party in NYc. I perfomed for two hours the client wrote down a $85 tip to be added to the $200 fee and gave me ti paper to remit to Nancy. Which I did. To date I have not been paid. Nancy hangs up every time I call. I will contact the client and inform them of my lack of payment and if necessary go to smal claims court. This is a warning to all entertainment ...get paid up front or do not work for this person.

Review: We were guaranteed an hour of children's entertainment. I specifically requested no clown costumes. The entertainer shows up early in a clown costume. He spends 5 minutes reviewing the contract and getting paid, another 20 minutes of below-par entertainment (songs and games that I could have done myself), another 15 minutes to get into a Brobee costume (which was laughably a knock-off), then left. I was embarrassed at the terrible entertainment and furious at the money I spent (almost 300$). I spoke with the woman in charge who told me that she will get back to me with my complaint after speaking with the entertainer. She never did and avoided my phone calls. I will never, ever do business with this agency again and warn everyone who wants to use them.Desired Settlement: Check or cash. No credit.
