I Pro Repair Reviews (1)

Review: After numerous attempts to reach [redacted] the owner of Ipro Repair I was unable to get him to exchange the screen replacement he did on my Ipad. The Ipad was still functioning correctly with a cracked screen when I dropped it off for repair and upon completion of the repair [redacted] returned the IPAD and right in front of him I powered the device on to find out that the screen was not repaired correctly and had a bubble. He then said that he had his own tech repair it and he did not get a chance to look it over fully. After he examined it that day he said he would order another screen and replace the one he installed. After numerous attempts I have tried to get [redacted] to replace the screen under his 30 day satisfaction guarantee and he refuses to help. The repair was completed on March 9th and I am still within my 30 day satisfaction guarantee and he still will not repair the Ipad. I paid him $100.00 for the repair and I want a full refund and my old broken screen back so that I can take my device to the real apple store to get repaired correctly.Directly from his website.WarrantyAt iPro Repair, it is our mission to treat all customers in a way that we would wish to be treated. Not only this, but we believe honesty to be the foundation upon which our business is built. This is why we offer a 30 day warranty on all repairs and purchases. We strive to make our customers happy, and if we can't do that we will gladly reimburse them within 30 days.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded the $100.00 for the bad repair.

Response:

Unfortunately, A while back I conversed with [redacted] a while back and her and I disagreed with the transaction and repair that took place. I would have totally been fine with her coming to me and asking for another repair previous to the first installation that had taken place if she had simply asked sooner than she had. Because of the fact that she contacted me several days(a whole week) after the repair and taken place and as well as the fact that the iPad functioned 100% after The installation was completed until I dropped it off to [redacted] (I even showed her that the iPad was 100% functional and went through my checklist like usual) it led me to believe because of her lengthy response time that the iPad had been dropped post delivery. [redacted] specifically explained to me that the iPad wasn't responding correctly in the corners of the iPad, when a drop occurs this is all too often the case because of vibrations that take place on the edges of the digitizer(the part that was installed). I stay true to my policy of a 30 day warranty and I have plenty of customers who will vouch for me. The one and only reason why I simply couldn't refund [redacted]'s money was because of the fact that she had damaged the iPad post delivery. I even offered to only charge her the cost of the part meaning a simple $60 repair, which even that I shouldn't of had to offer. But me being the person I am and the morals that I like to Think I run my business by I offered to do [redacted] I huge favor in not charging her any labor. I am rather perplexed about this whole situation and I really hope that we can get it solved for [redacted] is not only a customer of mine but I like to think a friend.

Response:

I am rejecting this response because:

I came to [redacted] the owner, with a cracked screen. His technician [redacted] replaced the cracked screen with a screen that was far from adequate, hence the $20 discount on the original repair cost of $120. That was March 11. I contacted [redacted] on March 16, only 5 days after the return of my iPad, informing him that the iPad was having issues collaborating with the touch and the screen. I contacted him again on the 23 and 24 of March, requesting information regarding my iPad being fixed. I asked you if he would be able to fix the issue and he responded with, "Yea I got u". I patiently waited on him to get back from his long vacation, which he stated he would be back on March 31st. I have been more than corporative in this situation.
