This is a difficult situation Groff's takes great pride in a job well done, and in well-functioning equipment and satisfied customers Unfortunately Groff's has not been paid by your builder for this, and other heating installations The builder, Classic Communities is
currently in bankruptcy proceedings Much as Groff's would like to make sure your system is functioning properly, we must refer you to your builder regarding this issue

*** *** accurately reported the date of service and what service was done to his heater The technician was on site for minutes to assure that the unit was no longer shutting down after 5-min Unfortunately the next day, the unit was reportedly shutting off again The
technician had done all that could be done without replacing parts. In our years in the heating business, we had never encountered this brand of heater (*** ***/*** ***) so we did not have parts available from our suppliers for this unit After *** *** provided us with the model# on 12/21/15, we searched on-line and put in a call to this manufacturer The technician was on the phone for a long time before being connected with tech support for Mr Heater They recommended a board replacement We provided a quote to *** *** of $ *** *** chose to contact *** *** directly and make his own repairs Since this heater was not installed by Groff's, we recommend that *** *** see if any help or warranty is available through the manufacturer of this unit

Updated bill sent by consumer

Good Afternoon *** and the team @ Revdex.com, After reviewing E John H***'s service/equipment history with our company, the response to his complaint is as follows: The *** heat pump system in which the consumer filed a complaint was installed in August and the *** equipment has a year parts warranty (this does not include every part from Groff's because it is the manufacturer's warranty- see manufacturer's warranty statement attached). E John H***'s mentioned that Groff's would charge $+ $112/hour and this is our process to give upfront pricingOur technicians also want to make sure they diagnose the correct issue as a professional serviceSome company's are willing to sell parts based on the consumer's recommendation, but that is not our practice at Groff's. In regards to the pre-paid labor warranty for years, what the consumer was referring to was a "Service Agreement Comprehensive Coverage" that requires annual maintenance by "Your servicing dealer or an authorized service technician" to remain validGroff's has not completed maintenance nor has our team been informed another company has performed this serviceWe will gladly honor the documentation if an authorized tech has completed this required annual workE John H***'s note about "telephone conversation" with *** *** stating E John H*** could complete the work himself, is not valid with this extended 10-year labor warranty. E John H*** is encouraged to call Adrian G***, Vice President, to discuss the details/requirements of the extended labor warrantiesSincerely, Dennis D***President

We make an effort to get the best information about the type of equipment before sending a technician out, but sometimes our best attempts far short.  We want to have a reputation as a dependable service contractor.   It has never been our desire to make money, while providing poor service.  We are sorry that we failed to meet [redacted]'s expectations.  We will extend a $100 refund to [redacted].

Review: THis telemarketing service calls me about a trade magazine that I may or may not get. They wouldn't tell me the name of it when I asked. I asked to be removed from their marketing list. The calls keep coming - 3 today so far this morning. I'm filing a complaint with the FCC next.Desired Settlement: Remove my number permanently from their marketing list.
