After my accident, my truck was released to IAA in error by Ferguson collision Center in Norman and they proceeded to take all my personal belongings from my truck and throw them, not put them, but throw them into a trash bag. I had two boxes of business cards which were all dumped out in the bag and are now ruined. By the time I got to my truck and realized that this had happened which, was a couple of weeks later, it was evident that my red solo cup with about $20 in change was empty and in the trash bag, but the change was gone. I also noticed that the heirloom diamond stud that I had in my truck was also missing, so after sorting out all the confusion, I spoke with the branch manager, Bill ***. Bill said that he would watch the surveillance from the days that my truck was there and call me back, which was supposed to be last Tuesday 2/4/2020. It has now been over a week and I left a voicemail for Bill on Monday, however, it is now Wednesday 2/12/2020 and I have not heard anything from him. This leads me to believe he didn’t like what he saw on the surveillance, but when you tell a customer you’re going to do something, you should do it. Unfortunately, Bill has failed at keeping his work and at this point I am demanding answers! Do not take your vehicle to IAA in Oklahoma City, because they have a thief working there! You’ve been warned!
Update: Bill finally called me back and claims he didn’t see anything on surveillance and that he spoke with the guy that cleaned out my truck, which he denied taking anything or seeing anything. When I asked if I needed to sue them to get a resolution, Bill sure was quick to say he couldn’t discuss this with me any longer. He took 0 accountability for this and is trying to act like there’s no proof my diamond and change were taken while at his location, but they’re the only ones who touched my stuff and threw it in a bag. Very disappointing to see IAA OKC treats customer’s this way.
