Review: On March 10,2013 I noticed my dirtbike and my wife's dirtbike where stolen from my mothers house in [redacted]. So I called the local cops and they sent a officer out, and he did a report and put both dirtbikes in the computer as stolen. On March 15,2013 around 16:00 I received a phone call from the cops in ** stating that the dirtbikes were recovered in [redacted] and that I need it to contact [redacted] Police Station. So I called the [redacted] Police Station and talked to a officer who gave me the contact info on where the dirtbikes where. Which was Iacona's Auto. So I called Iacona's right away. The owner of the company stated to me on the phone that I could not pick my dirtbikes up til Monday March 18,2013 because they were closing. So Monday morning I got up and was at [redacted] Police Station at 08:00 on Monday March 18,2013 to get the release papers so I can pick the dirtbikes up. Now I was already having a rough time getting the release papers from the Police, and had to go back to ** to pick my wife up, so her dirtbike could be release. So at around 10:00 I final get both release papers and head over to Iacona'a Auto to pick the dirtbikes up. Now when I got there I walked in the front door and two men were seating there and I stated what I was there for they told me I need it to go to the back door so I did. Once arriving at back door one of the guys that were seating there came to help me. I hand him my papers that I got from the cops. Guy says please excuse me and a walks in the other room. Few minutes go by and the guy returns. My wife asks if there are any fees that guy states 299.00 per bike. Which was 598.00. Fees broke down as follow, Tow Police Ordered 95.00, Labor,Hook Up, and Drop Down 40.00,Administration Fee 35.00,Inside Storage 43.00 a day (129.00). Please note that the break down is per bike. I told them I am not paying it and I shouldn't have to being that the dirtbikes were stolen from me. That I would pay if they caught me riding them illegally. Well the owner comes out and me and the owner start talking which than leads to a argument. I walk outside and call [redacted] Police Station there operator connected me to supervisor's voice mail box. Now I walk back in and the Owner says I am going to help you guys out I will take 86.00 off of each order which takes two days of storage off the bills. So the owner and I go back at it again and I say I should not have to pay it and that the two suspects that the cops caught should pay for it. Than the owner starts informing me about Insurance. That I have to pay it or I dont get the dirtbikes and that I need to take the suspects to court to get my money back.Than says if I would of picked them up at the scene I would have not been charged. Like I stated before I didnt get a phone call til around 16:00 on Friday. If they stated to me I would of want straight there after work and picked the bikes up at the scene being I get done at 15:45. But never was told that and when I called Iacona'a at 16:35 they already had the bikes at there lot. Now after about 15 minutes of arguing the owner says charge them full price for everything cause of my attitude, which is 299. Than process to tell me how I am ungrateful and that I should just be thankful that I have my bikes back. That the cops didn't have to chase the suspects in the mud in a bad part of [redacted] were the cop could of been shot and killed and could of said forget about it and that next time the cops will see a stolen dirtbike and say forget about it and look the other way. Now I asked a very simple question. I said " who do I report any damages to that are on the dirtbikes?" The owners reply is man you just don't stop crying do you and that I am trying to milk a rock and that bullets, and guns are flying every night around there. Than he processed to bring a picture out and point to his daughters and says she was X amount of years old and she was X amount of years old in this picture and this is my wife. Now my daughters are 14 years old and 9 years old and I lost my wife to stage four cancer and that they have something to cry about and I don't have anything to cry about. I ended up paying 426.00 for both dirtbikes and leaving.

PLEASE NOTE:

-As you stated in the form cursing cant not be in the complaint so I didn't put it. The owner and I did curse at times tho.

-Also note that the invoices say [redacted] Towing which operates out of same buildingDesired Settlement: A full Refund of 426.00.

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: The owner of Iacona Collision ([redacted] Towing) called me on April 10,2013 at 2:20 pm which I missed his call and he left no voicemail. I called the number back on April 10,2013 at 2:30 pm. A employee of the company answered and when I stated that it was me I was put on hold for a minute and the owner got on the phone. The owner said you reported me to Revdex.com and I said yes and than he started going off on me about how people like me are why lawyers are rich and that he was going to take me to court and embarrass me. The only thing I said to him was do what you got to do, and I hung up. After work on April 10,2013 I called Revdex.com and told them what had happen and they said my case was closed because the company never replied and than told me my options. The owner has not contacted me since that call. Now as far as which door I used the owner is correct and I should of been more clear, the front door for Iacona Collision is kind of on a angle which can be seen on Google maps street view and when I stated back door I meant as in the door to the right of the main door heading towards the back of the building towards [redacted]. The company IS NOT authorized to hit my credit card for any amount of money. If they do I will report them. The discount which he gave me was because I called him Friday March 15,2013 and spoke to him and was told by him I cant pick my bikes until Monday because they were closing. So the discount was 2 days of storage taken off the bill because I would of came and got them Friday March 15,2013. At the time of the theft I didn't have insurance on the dirtbikes. But I do have renters insurance for my apartment and the owner did state to me that I should try to report it to my renters insurance to see if they would cover it and I stated that would not work because my renters insurance doesn't cover my moms house being that they are two different addresses.

Now as far as getting any money back from the suspects that the police have caught isn't going anywhere. After trying to contact the [redacted] Police Station and get some answer on court dates or anything to help me recover the cost of all damages, and towing fees I get no call backs, and if someone does answers I get you need to call this officer and he works from this time to this time and than I call when they say the officer will be in and someone else says he doesn't work until this time. The one time I asked to speak to the [redacted] Police Supervisor on duty he told me that I would need to call the Commissioners Office and gave me the number to it. When I called the Commissioners Office to see if I can find anything out I am in the same boat minus the one time I talked to a lady named [redacted] and she said your calling about having to pay for your towing fees, I stated yes and also for whom do I report damages to. She said the courts will send you papers in the mail. Now as of 4/16/2013 I have called and left [redacted] multiple voicemails and I still have not received any calls back yet or any papers in the mail about court dates or anything.
