Review: My son was supposed to have a filling done on October 17, 2013. The Doctors office said they would call me to tell me how much the filling would cost. I never heard back from them. When I called on November 7th to have my sons file transferred to a different dentist the receptionist told me I had to pay a 50.00 no show fee. I explained that I never heard back from them regarding the cost of the appointment. She then said that her office contacted me on the 15th of October to confirm the appointment. I said I never received a call or spoke with anyone. It didn't matter to the receptionist at all because it said in her computer that they contacted me. Evidently their computer systems knows better than myself that they spoke with me. Regardless of whether the computer says we spoke or not I still do not know how much I was supposed to bring to the appointment and they claim they spoke to me two days before which simply did NOT happen. I feel that being charged 50 dollars for a no show fee when the doctors office never spoke with me is unfair and poor business practice.Desired Settlement: I would like the $50.00 "no show" charged removed because I honestly and truly never spoke with anyone from the office regarding the cost and confirmation of an appointment.

It is unfortunate that our customer had this experience at our practice. The customer was assessed a broken appointment fee for not showing for their child's appointment. They also did not call to notify the practice that they would not be able to make it. The customer actually did not respond to any calls regarding the appointment prior to the appointment and the day of. The customer has received no billing statement to date from our practice and will not receive one in the future for the broken appointment fee since she informed us that she does not agree with our office policies will be seeking treatment elsewhere. Her account presently has a $0 dollar balance.
