Review: I attempted to contact the Customer Support phone number but was forced to use e-mail instead, as there was never any response to the phone number, except for a recording telling me to leave a message and my e-mail address. When I did use e-mail, the company found the easiest possible (but incorrect) answer, and has ceased to pursue the issue any further. I have provided additional information after the initial response that was incorrect , including the initial purchase of my account, the account name, number, date, length of contract, etc, and requested a re-examination, but have been ignored. There has been no further investigation into why they can not find my valid and paid account, but only my old "free" account, that has expired.

I would like them to re-examine the information they have on hand, and find out why they can't find a valid apid account.Desired Settlement: I expect them to locate and verify my paid account, and explain why I can't log on to an account that I have been using since November of last year and that isn't expected to expire until November of this year, but suddenly no longer is working.

Review: I joined a 7 day free trial with a $7.95 a month charge if I didn't quit after 7 days. They put a $79.95 charge on by Debit Card for a whole year

I logged into my account within 2 days of joining and cancelled my subscription but never received any confirmation. I have been trying to call them since 13 Nov 14 at a pace of over 25 times a day to make sure they didn't charge me. Well they did charge me $79.95. They do not answer their phone, they do not return messages and they do not send out confirmation of cancellations. They get your card number and take $79.95 from you and leave you no way to contact them and ask why.Desired Settlement: I want my money back, I quit within the 7 days and even when I joined for the free trial, it was supposed to be $7.95 a month...not $79.95....this was my money I was going home for Thanksgiving for and they took it, I am a college Navy ROTC student, and they took my money which I don't have much of. They could at least answer their phone or return calls.

Review: Fold3 charged me for an annual membership that I did not order this year. I just discover they charged me for the same LAST year also! Never ordered.

I contacted my credit card company when I noticed a charge for annual membership by fold3 this past month and reported the same a fraud. I would never have ordered such. Then I researched my bills from last year and discovered a charge for annual membership a year ago. Also not ordered by me. I did not notice the charge last year because I was in the hospital for abdominal surgery for 16 days, after which there was a month recovery at home. I simply did not check the statement. I am aggravated that fold3 refuses to return the charge from last year. I used their site one time, a free week long trial, in 2011. Why would they choose to charge my card for an annual membership in 2013? They have acknowledged that I did not use it. I would not have used it and indeed have no use for it at all. The free week trial in 2011 was to obtain verification for Confederate headstones for two soldiers that are buried on my parents' property. They are not related to us or known to us. I was doing it to be charitable. But that was 2011 for a free week. Where did they get the annual membership in 2013? It was never used. I have no use for the information on the site at all and would never have ordered a full year membership in any such organization. I truly believe this is fraudulent. They had the advantage of my surgery and hospitalization so that I did not notice the charge then. I have filed a complaint with fold3 online. They are refusing to return the fraudulently charged 59.95. I have called several times and have not received a call back. They do not answer the phone ever! They always ask you to leave a message. I believe this is a sham organization. I would like to caution other seniors about their fraudulent business practices. Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of the unauthorized charge to my card in the amount of $59.95.

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (2000, 7, 2014/06/06) */

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)

I have received an email from the company agreeing to refund the annual charge from last year in the amount of $59.95 that was charged without my knowledge. If they do not return the charge as they have promised I will contact the Utah Revdex.com again. Thank you for your help.

Review: I signed up for a 7 day free trial and I tried contacting the company to cancel my trial and I have been trying to contact them for 4 days an within one hour I called 200 times and left about 20 messages. they took out a payment of $79.00 before contacting me back and I was able to cancel the free trial. I am still attempting to contact the company in hopes I will be able to correct it myself, but I would like the company to be looked into. no reputable company lets a customer call for 4 days and returns no phone calls and or with any emails.

Desired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Other (requires explanation)

I would like the company looked into and would like my money back. I have tried to get in touch with someone from the business for four days and still nothing

The customer's account was cancelled in response to her original request. The customer was also contacted by phone to verify that she was satisfied with the resolution.

Consumer's Final Response /* (3000, 11, 2013/09/19) */

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)

I was not contacted right away I just received a phone call from this business on 9/18/13. however I did receive an email stating they would refund my money and my account was canceled. I do not like how this company dealt with me as a customer. like I stated previously I made over 100 phone calls in a day and heard nothing and never did anyone pick up the phone. I do not find this business is ran in a professional manner.

Review: The pricing chart is deceptively worded. Had I known that I would not be charged the monthly rate, I would never have signed up for thiws service.

When I signed up for the service on April 18, I was shown a monthly rate that was presented as the price I would be charged. There was no indication that this was NOT the price I would be charged for service. Instead of charging me for one month\'s worth of service, this company charged me for a year\'s worth of service. After I sent an email to customer service, explaining that I felt that I should only have been charged the monthly rate, I was sent an automated response that I would receive communication from them within one to two business days. That email was received on Tuesday, April 29, and I have yet to receive any further indication that this issue is going to be addressed. I feel that the presentation of fees should be explained in a way that people fully understand that the YEARLY charge is what this company will choose to charge you should you decide to continue with a paid membership (the initial offer included a free seven-day membership). Instead, this pricing scale (for the yearly membership) was worded as being an "upgrade." Those are deceptive practices. This company needs to address this issue with myself and in general purposes, so that others who choose to take up an offer of membership are not hit with a yearly charge for a service that they do not need for that length of time.Desired Settlement: I am happy to continue with a monthly charged membership and understand that I will need to cancel it when I no longer need their service. I am NOT content with being charged a yearly rate for a service that I will not need for that amount of time. I will need this service for one month, perhaps two, and will happily pay for that.
