Revdex.com: Please see attached for full explanation of resolution I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me Regards, [redacted]

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below If MrIarossi was truthful, he would be unable to make the claims for delays as he did in his phone response to the Revdex.com He told me on numerous occasions the delays were because he was very busy and just could not say no to new jobs.Although parking was not included in the contract, I arranged parking with the next door neighbor, for use of their space and/or their tenant's space, allowing MrIarossi direct access to the project site MrIarossi's carpenter and tile person used this parking when working on the renovation This parking availability remained for the weeks, sometimes months, when MrIarossi had no one come to the house to work on the renovation MrIarossi also parked his dump trailer for a week in the tenant's parking space He parked his tool trailer on the street during the day and overnight on a few noted occasions without being towed I also did not ask for extras The only insect damage I am aware of was the existing wood floor MrIarossi noted the damage during the walk though and included the new flooring in the contract My preference for tile over linoleum was discussed when he put linoleum in the contract Despite his August request for another $10,payment toward the total contract amount so he could purchase everything for the bathroom, the tile for the 60"x72" floor, along with fixtures, was not purchased until January There may not have been a finish date in the contract dated 7/20/16, but I have documentation of finish dates promised of November 30, 2016, December 2016, January 2017, April 1, On April 3rd, I informed MrIarossi that it needed to be completed by April 8th or I would pursue further action He responded via text it would be done Some work was done that week, but not completed After not hearing from MrIarossi, I filed the complaint on April 14th On April 24th, MrIarossi texted me it would be done MrIarossi's carpenter worked at the project site on April 25th and 26th At that time, the tools that had been left on site for months had been removed, and I have not been contacted by MrIarossi since Ten months exceeds a reasonable time frame for completion of this project With his history of promised finish dates ignored, and the excuses he has given Revdex.com for the delay, I have no confidence in his response that he will call me with a date for completion MrIarossi has been aware that I am incurring $1,per month in rent and utilities because I have been unable to move into my home In November, he stated he would deduct that $1,000/month from the balance due to "make it right" With no credible finish date given, I cannot continue the expense of not being in my home, and the stress MrIarossi's unprofessionalism has caused I will have someone else complete the project Regards, [redacted] ***

the complaint was made after the one year NYS manditory warranty. By law I am not responsible for any issues after the year warranty has expired. I have an exceptional tract record and following with my customers, it is unfortunate that a leak has occurred but this is a rare
occurance and is beyond the warranty period, I will contact the customer and do what I can to resolve the issue because I do stand behind my workmanship

All work has been completed to the owners satisfaction and has paid me the balance of the contract

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowI texted him pictures of the problem OctHave every text and phone callJob in bathroom was done by OctI can not say the job was complete but he was done at that point because he checked out and I had to rehire contractors to finish joblong months of construction when you're told Bob installed shower unit because he did the plumbingI messaged him within the year time frameHe repeatedly blew me off for weeks no show after no showHe doesn't care because he has been allowed to get away with this! His other complaints identical to mineHe was a no show for months but always showed for paydayHe told it would take monthsHe lied because it wasn't done in months and he had every excuse you could imagineBut brought up it didn't state that in the contract. He will not contact me about this because he's had months since I contacted him in Octlast year (2017)He said that to satisfy the Revdex.com and could carelessI am not trying to cause any trouble other than what is right is right and wrong is wrong He didn't install the unit correctly and its most likely been leaking the entire time and has worsenedThe way he handled this entire job and his blatant treatment is unfair with no ethical or moral values. Our last conversation he said he was going to talk to his plumber friend and get back to meAnd know he's playing the year card and thinking about it he said to me on the phone *** how long has it been and I said Octexactly once year Oct2016-OctHe asked me if I used the shower and I said yes up until I texted you Oct14th and he said no leaks? I said none that I noticed until it came thru sheet rock in ceiling in garageI am truly concerned about MoldHe said the kit did not come with a gasket but he would ask his plumber friend and get back to meHe never didObviously it needs something in drain because a small leak has turned to a small flood of water in garage floorInsulation all wetWhen He came in Octhe said he would repair sheet rock he had to cut to view the pipes under drainHe never did nor contacted me about itAll in textsI will find a way to make people aware of this guy thru whatever avenue it takes me This contractors know how to work the system and its down right crooked.Pictures and texts attachedHave more as it would only allow pics.

We did several extras for her. The shower door is there, and I did promise her a dishwasher , which I will drop off for her. There was a $5000 balance owed, minus $2000 promised for rent , then add the extras the balance would be around $5000. I am not looking to receive that, as that will be for the additional rent incurred.  I do apologize this did not work out, I have been extremely busy and tried to accommodate as best I could. In the end, she does not owe me anything.

Phone response - This consumer promised off street parking for me, that was never provided. We had to leave more than work, for fear of being towed. She kept wanting extras, which added time, like repairing termite damage, and changing from linoleum to tile, took extra time. I plan on finishing next...

week, I will contact her with a date. She files this complaint knowing we do not have a finish date on the contract, and not providing what she promised (parking) which if that was provided, we would have been done long ago.

If Mr. Iarossi was truthful, he would be unable to make the claims for delays as he did in his phone response to the Revdex.com.  He told me on numerous occasions the delays were because he was very busy and just could not say no to new jobs.Although parking was not included in the contract, I arranged parking with the next door neighbor, for use of their space and/or their tenant's space, allowing Mr. Iarossi direct access to the project site.  Mr. Iarossi's carpenter and tile person used this parking when working on the renovation.  This parking availability remained for the weeks, sometimes months, when Mr. Iarossi had no one come to the house to work on the renovation.  Mr. Iarossi also parked his dump trailer for a week in the tenant's parking space.  He parked his tool trailer on the street during the day and overnight on a few noted occasions without being towed.  I also did not ask for extras.  The only insect damage I am aware of was the existing wood floor.  Mr. Iarossi noted the damage during the walk though and included the new flooring in the contract.  My preference for tile over linoleum was discussed when he put linoleum in the contract.  Despite his August 2016 request for another $10,000 payment toward the total contract amount so he could purchase everything for the bathroom, the tile for the 60"x72" floor, along with fixtures, was not purchased until January 2017. There may not have been a finish date in the contract dated 7/20/16, but I have documentation of finish dates promised of November 30, 2016, December 2016, January 2017, April 1, 2017.  On April 3rd, I informed Mr. Iarossi that it needed to be completed by April 8th or I would pursue further action.  He responded via text it would be done.   Some work was done that week, but not completed.  After not hearing from Mr. Iarossi, I filed the complaint on April 14th.  On April 24th, Mr. Iarossi texted me it would be done.  Mr. Iarossi's carpenter worked at the project site on April 25th and 26th.  At that time, the tools that had been left on site for months had been removed, and I have not been contacted by Mr. Iarossi since.  Ten months exceeds a reasonable time frame for completion of this project.  With his history of promised finish dates ignored, and the false excuses he has given Revdex.com for the delay, I have no confidence in his response that he will call me with a date for completion.  Mr. Iarossi has been aware that I am incurring $1,000 per month in rent and utilities because I have been unable to move into my home.  In November, he stated he would deduct that $1,000/month from the balance due to "make it right".  With no credible finish date given, I cannot continue the expense of not being in my home, and the stress Mr. Iarossi's unprofessionalism has caused.  I will have someone else complete the project.
