Our contract requires days written notice to cancel We received written notice the same day we took a deposit for this lease The prospecive lessees were unwilling to proceed forward with the lease after learning about the circumstances, thus we were unable to produce an executed lease We have closed out this case Steve [redacted] President Allisonville RdSuite Fishers, IN E-Mail: [email protected] Toll Free: 1-866-309-

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The deposit and decision to lease were made based upon the information provided by Basecamp Leasing’s website and the property description Again their Website states: “Our staff of hunters have personally inspected all properties, unless stated otherwise, to assure you of a prime hunting lease." Nowhere in the property description is it stated that the property had been recently timbered Had this been disclosed, as they’ve done on other such properties, I would not have made a decision to lease and make a deposit As such their failure to disclose the recent timber cut amounts to advertising and that is why I am seeking a refund of my deposit. If Basecamp Leasing feels so strongly about their policy and decision not to refund for any reason, to include advertising, then why did they recently update the # [redacted] property description (see attached) to now disclose “A select timber cut was completed last year”?Regardless, Basecamp Leasing misrepresented their organization and the property advertised If each property was personally inspected by their staff hunters, they must have known the property was recently timbered, and should have disclosed that in the property description Their failure to do so not only amounts to advertising, but also provides little assurance of a prime hunting lease Since assurance of a prime hunting lease is what they advertise on their site, that is exactly what I expect when I make a deposit to lease one of their properties Regards, [redacted]

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Regards,*** *** ,it wasn't advertised as being landlocked or inaccessible because of a wide deep creek, just to inspect property I had to get permission off of the neighbors

I am writing in response to a notice we received via USPS yesterday regarding Case ID *** involving a transaction on property #***. While we appreciate his comments, our website and all correspondence clearly states “Non-Refundable Lease Deposit to hold lease in a pending state
until full payment can be madeYou will have days to pay in full.” As re-stated by our agent in the various email conversations with the complainant, the non-refundable deposit simply places the property as “pending” until final payment is made within days; it is not holding the property to make sure they like it. This complainant elected to make a non-fundable deposit on this property sight unseen All of our materials in print and on our website indicate that the deposit is non-refundable for any reason Best Regards, Nancy R*** Office Manager

We make it very clear that the deposit is non-refundable for any reason so that a customer does not tie up a property before they inspect itHe put a deposit down before inspectingWe cannot possibly include every detail that might be important to every hunterWe retained the customer’s
non-refundable deposit
