This response will simply be everything that has been made clear to the customer over the phone and support tickets (which can be provided for proof upon request)
The client claimed that her son purchased the plan and that our company took
advantage of the young man, somehow with the knowledge that he's an underage adolescentNeither do we have such capability of telling age based on billing information, nor have we executed any specific marketing tactic towards this purchaseAll of our pricing is translucent on the pricing page: we offer tiers, and we bill in advance annually, or in advance quarterly (http://ibuildapp.com/pricing.php)The client selected the Enterprise (top tier) package and has filled out the order for months
We have received an email from the customer (the son) on February with the following message:
"Are there any refunds I didn't know the plan was just for app I thought it was for every app I plan to make."
Our service representative responded back with an inquiry to clarify the account information of the customer as the email from which we've received the inquiry is not registered on our databaseWe've received no response
The next instance the customer contacted us was on May 29th, at which point *** has specified that her son used her credit card to make the purchase and was only recently made aware of the amount paid on the app and requested a refundAt which point it has been well over days of money back policy we display on our pricng page, it has also been days since the business transaction for the banking institutions to process a legal refundThis was made perfectly clear to the customer over the phone with one of our support representatives at which point the customer claimed to not have any prior knowledge of the business transaction until the month of May and has threatened us with legal actionSince then, *** has harassed our support representatives for a refund under the threat that iBuilddApp has taken advantage on her son's legal age
We have completely wiped all the billing information entered by the client and have cancelled any billing plans scheduled to renew in the future as a response to the customer feedback
It is not the responsibility of iBuildApp owners or service representatives to monitor purchases made by the client or handle the billing aspect of any individual accountWe cannot by policy render any refund as services have been rendered toward the purchased product whether or not they have been utilized to their maximum potential

I've read the statement from Build an App
As I stated before, they do not answer their phoneMy year old son did try calling Build an App ( as he was directed by their online chat service to do so) to cancel his orderHe tried many times and they NEVER answered or called back
Build an App make it very difficult for the customer to get a hold of them to cancel
Total scam!!!
My year old son is underage and did not read " The Policies" and my son did not have our permission to purchase this productHe purchased a month for $
They charged him over $!!!
After learning of the scam months later, I calmly reached out to their online chat service and again was told to call I called ...no answerAnd yes I was emailing and chatting with their online service person trying to get answersAwful customer serviceFinally several days later, I finally get a call back from Emil
After explaining the problem to Emil,
he told me I was not going to be refunded and it's not his problem
Totally unethical and unprofessional behavior
I write to you Revdex.com to get the word out
about scandalize companies like Build an App that prey on people and to help protect underage kids from these bogus policies
