Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: the information listed is not indeed factualI have text message correspondence from [redacted] in addition to confirmation from a third party that the internal damage could only have been caused during the removal of the screenShe is correct in that the waiver does state that there may be unforeseen damages and/or charges in conjunction with the work, but it also states that they will accept liability if it is due to gross negligence by Ibuy and Repair or its agentThis will become a hearsay discussion should it continue in the fashion that we are currently goingMy intention is only to obtain a functional working which is what I placed in the possession of this companyI attempted to arrange for the original proposal to be pursued on July and I received no response Regards, [redacted]

*** *** droped off ipad mini for repairThey were severally shattered/ crackedEach iPad repair cost was $ea plus tax which came out to $for the repair for both iPadsThis was to replace the Digitizer/ outer glassThe iPads did have a slight delay on due to the cracksOn June *** picked up one of the iPad mini that was completed with no incidentOn the second iPad Mini I did not have the part in stock so I had to order from a different vendor than my original supplierPart was ordered took about a week to come inTurned out the part was defectiveI offered to order the part again and if she wanted to wait for it I can fix it or she could use a different company that might have the part in stockShe chose to take it somewhere elseI googled a company and told her she could try Cellular Zone if she didn't want to wait for another replacement part*** came in on Jul to pick up her iPad and received a refund of the $and was charged $for the completed iPad mini repairShe then took it to get repaired at Cellular Zone and called me telling me that there were gold teeth missing from the motherboardDidn't understand what she was saying at the moment so she sent me a pictureAfter seeing the picture there were tiny gold prongs missing from where the digitizer flex cable connects to the iPadOther company said they were unable to fix and gave her some excuse on how it was not repairableThey should of stated that they could not perform this repair because they were not a level repair store and did not have the knowledge on how to do thisI called Apple for her to see if she still had warranty for the iPadThey said she had no warranty and they would not cover anything, that once the iPad was cracked/ damage that there is no warrantyI then let her know of this and did my research and found a Level repair store Dr Phonez that would repair her iPad for $She refused to take it there and was demanding that I give buy her a Brand New iPad MiniEven though she came in with a broken iPad miniAt the time of when I accepted the repair I could not see the internal damage that could have been cause by negligence from *** *** iPad ownerI informed her of the waiver she signed which states "iBuy & Repair is not liable for the fluctuation in cost of repairsThis is to inform you that there is a possibility for unseen damage that may occur during the repair." This waiver also states "iBuy & Repair is not an authorized service dealer for AppleFurther, I agree to release, indemnify, and hold iBuy & Repair from liability for any claims or damaged of any kind or description that may arise from any repair work performed on my electronic device" I have attached a copy of this signed waiverWhen *** *** left iBuy & Repair on July she had a fully functional iPad Mini that worked with both my iPad Digitizers for the iPad Mini & but had a slight delay and did not wantAlso the iPad Mini digitizer worked but was a faulty pieceIn conclusion, I will not replace *** *** iPad mini that was severely cracked / damaged for a Brand New oneShe also turned down my offer to repair her iPad when the new screen came inShe came in and I provided her a copy of the waiver she signed and let her take pictures of my business licenseI did ask her to leave after she wanted to argue in front of a customerAny other questions feel free to reach me at *** *** ***

She is correct in that the waiver does state that there may be unforeseen damages and/or charges in conjunction with the work, but it also states that they will accept liability if it is due to gross negligence by Ibuy and Repair or its agent. This will become a hearsay discussion should it continue in the fashion that we are currently going. My intention is only to obtain a functional working which is what I placed in the possession of this company. I attempted to arrange for the original proposal to be pursued on 13 July 2015 and I received no response.
