I would like to post a positive review for iBuyPowerOf course, it's usually only people who are angry who are going to write a review about a business on Revdex.comBut that gives an unbalanced view of that company I have just purchased my second computer from iBuyPowerI am a repeat customer, in other wordsI bought the first one back in 2010, and it was a beautifully made, very stable machine that worked for me like a dream for yearsIn fact, I'm getting a new computer not because the first one died on me, even after nearly years (it's up in my son's room now, chugging along great!), but because I needed a new one for Windows 10, etc This time around, my experience with iBuyPower was again fantasticThey answered all my questions (answered by Americans whose first language is ENGLISH), had a great website with awesome customizers for my build, and had very low prices and terrific components and optionsThey obviously love computers The build process was very quick--only business days, and I got one or more status updates on the build every dayThe machine arrived in terrific condition, is a marvel to behold (all white metal and blue lights), and was not only built exactly as I'd specified but is solid and extremely fast If being a repeat customer after years isn't enough of an endorsement, here's my final word: These guys are fantastic and you'll love the computer they build for you

So I bought a computer about 13-months ago and within months a fan had went outAfter owning it or another 7-months, the motherboard had went outI attempted to contact them through live chatI didnt get a message back after waiting 5-minutesI decided to contat them and they said that even thought it was only a month or so over the warranty I was out of luck and had to contact the maker of the motherboardI explained the issues going on with my computer and why I had thought it was the motherboard going out and the lady I was talking with gave me a effortless response saying "yeah its probaly the motherboard"I was then transfered to someone who again told me that I was out of luckOverall just wasn't a good experience

Absolute terrible, get a product and the parts they give you don't last already had to change out a power supply, had a pc prior to this that I never even had to touch a part after it was built

Upon my initial order (roughly $3,for a laptop), it was advertised that they would ship within to business days AFTER the purchase, it went a month without even getting to the "Building" stage It took them weeks just to get to the "Gathering Parts" stage of my order In several attempts to contact the company to investigate what was going on, the excuses were that they were busy, and for me to be patient I was also guaranteed that I would have the laptop in my hands within a month This was a lie - a month later, I cancelled as they had not even started to build it, much less QA and test it If you are that busy, warn your customers on your website BEFORE they pay Would not recommend doing business with this company under any circumstances

Bought two gaming desktops (over $3000) and about months in one of the video cards craps out (Radeon r9-290x)Call in, set up advanced RMA, CC is charged ($380), wait for a week, get a call from themThey don't have any more of my cardTold they'll either find one or send me the next best thingdays later they get around to shipping my card
I get the card, it doesn't even workI spend a good amount of time emailing tech support back and forth to diagnose the problemThey think it's my motherboardMore troubleshooting and some research, nope, the card must be faultyTech support told me to just send both back in one package to save on shipping, and they'll refund for the advanced RMA, and send me another card
Can't get to the post office for a good while (I work a lot and can't get time off easily) but get it mailed offWait for shipping and then a few days processing or something and get an emailEssentially they say we got the cards, will refund your CC even though we don't have to cause its been more than days since you set up the RMA (first time I've heard of any time limit I was on, and also, it took a month for you to even mail my card)Then they say that I have ticked over my warranty period and they will not be doing anything more for me, other than mailing back the original video card(The one they replaced, albeit with a faulty card)
Shortly after my card is refunded, but for $less than I was charged(the rest came in another two transactions a couple days later)
So I'm confused and pissedNext day my boss lets me take to phone themTalk to a rep named Steve who is unreal rude to meConstantly interrupting me and trying to justify their stance an why they won't do anythingI hardly knew what to say, but it appeared nothing was going to help, and I was running out of time for my callI talk to a bunch of people from various industries and they all agree that this is crapIt doesn't matter if the warranty expires in the middle of processing or shipping or whateverIf the problem started and was reported while under warranty, then they need to resolve the issueNothing more, nothing less
I write a long email detailing everything, get told the same thing, with the added "maybe try contacting the manufacturer, maybe they can replace it for you." I reply with "no, sorry that doesn't work for meRegardless of my warranty now expiring cause you have messed me around for so long and sent me a faulty replacement, I still don't have a working video card that while under warranty you said you'd replaceYou can't just stop midway through"Told I should probably phone in and talk to a supervisor
So I doI phone in, explain my situation again, get patched through to a supervisorYeah, it's Steve, the guy who was so rude to me last timeI calmly and politely try (while being constantly interrupted and argued with) to explain why they still owe me a working video card, and get nowhereOnly this time Steve tells me something along the lines of "maybe you should have got your act together and just mailed us the card right away then you would still be under warranty." To which I respond that I WAS under warranty and was in contact with your tech support trying to diagnose the second bad video cardAt first they thought it was my motherboardI mailed it after they said to do soSteve didn't know anything about me talking to tech support and just said well you should have just mailed it back right awayTold me they would not do anything, and that he couldn't be bothered wasting time talking to me, then HUNG UP on me
Currently contacting a lawyer, as well as a few other people/companies, but thought I'd shareWorst I've been spoken to by a company, ever

great customer service no problems, will be buying again

Horrible service do nothing what they say they willRevdex.com should shut this company down for its customer negligenceYou place an order with the most advance options and they still cannot seem to make the weekend deadline so please if you order don't add on all of the other things because they are a useless companyI still have not received the package and who knows if I willNothing is being made right by the companyPlease folks be warned you are in for it

I bought a computer from IBuyPower in late The build process had several issues, with several calls made to me to ask if they could alter the build I put together on their website
After the alterations, it was shipped out to meThere were problems with the systemAfter troubleshooting online, they asked me to ship it backSince that time I have shipped the system back more times, for a total of trips back to the company, with the original issue still never addressed
After the year mark, with almost months of that time spent 'in the shop', they tried to state my warranty had expiredAfter escalating and explaining the original issues were never addressed to supervisors, they agreed to attempt to fix it again
However, now I have gone weeks without an email responseThe tech team refers me to customer serviceThe customer service team refers me to tech
In the end, I bought a top of the line system which has never fully worked, and now am being ignored

Worst company ever. This is my survey review on their website

Pretty easy here. You guys are the worst company I've ever had to deal with. Your shipping was a hassle and overpriced, it took way too long, etc. Now I get my computer and it's broken. Figures from a company that has a c- on Revdex.com. They try and help me over the phone. Can't. So they expect me to ship back to them to fix it. Something that they [redacted] up on. So I get refund. Takes five days just get an email from you guys stating that I'm even getting a refund. Thrn they minus shipping from me because apparently you guys payed for it and I don't get that back. Figures. Even though I myself had to pay 120 dollars to givd your [redacted] piece of junk back to you. Congratulations on being the biggest waste of my time and the most expensive waste of time. If I could give a -1000 I would but I can't. You guys might as well be a scam because you sure screwed me over. Thanks.

I bought a laptop from them for their 2016 Veteran's day sale, and I have to say I am 100% impressed. Without any rush build or expedited delivery I received my order in 2 weeks flat. I have had it about a week now, and the thing runs like a dream. I've had to call customer service twice, once to check what type of monitor it had since I was getting mixed signals about whether it had G-Sync or not, and once because I didn't realize the free game codes were sent by email. Both times I was on hold less than 10 minutes, and both times the rep was very friendly and quick to get the information I needed. I would highly suggest them to anyone in need of a PC, *do not let negative reviews scare you!!!!* what happens is a rather small, yet vocal, percentage have a bad time and they are the ones who end up leaving reviews. Any place you go, including brick and mortar, you will have a chance to receive DOA/bad parts, and you will always have that one customer rep who is having a bad day. It is nothing unique to IBP.

My experience with IBuyPower started out great, but ended terribly. I will never use this company again.

1. The good: Their website is easy to use, they have great daily deals, and you can heavily customize your PC to build exactly the computer you want. My computer was assembled and shipped quickly and arrived four days earlier than the earliest prediction.

2. They sent us the wrong computer. Disappointing, but not devastating. We had to return it by ground and wait for them to ship our computer which was sent to New York. It took 9 days before they got our computer back. They did the absolute bare minimum and did nothing to restore good faith.

3. The reps we spoke with promised to ship it back within a day of it's arrival and that it would be sent by two day shipping. It was shipped out two and a half days later with three day shipping.

4. Our computer got here two weeks and two days after the wrong computer got here. The right computer was in the box, but all of the accessory items were not in the box. We called them again. We had called them several times over the previous week to find out why the computer was not shipping and to see why they were not fulfilling basic promises like two day shipping.

5. We got to speak with the manager Steve. My wife had spoken to Steve the previous week when we were trying to get our computer shipped out. We told him that our order was still incorrect and we wanted the rest of our order shipped out to us that day and we wanted it shipped overnight. He said it would ship the next day and the best he could do was two day shipping. I told him that wasn't good enough and I felt we had been very patient with how they kept messing up. They failed to keep promises, they had twice failed to ship us our order correctly, and they were not doing anything to expedite the process or make it up to us. I said I wanted the $75 dollar shipping fee that we had paid to be refunded since their shipping department had failed to deliver. That's when Steve showed his colors as the worst customer service rep in history.

6. Steve told us that since our order shipped so fast the first time we really had no right to complain since this extra shipping had only really cost us a couple of days. He also said that it was partly our fault that things had turned out this way since he told my wife that she should always ask for him when we called. Now he had not been a part of our case from the beginning and he only told us to ask for him a couple days previously, not the two and a half weeks that this had been going on, so this made no sense.

He also said that no promises were broken. I tried to explain that we had spoken to other reps before him. He told me that wasn't true. When I tried to continue to speak he kept cutting me off and telling me what I saying was not true. He basically called me a liar and blamed my wife for this ordeal which was entirely the fault of his company. As the call went on he got more rude and condescending. He told me he couldn't justify giving us any sort of refund and the best he would offer is a game code for a couple games we didn't want. As he continued to rant I told him to just send me the stuff I ordered as quickly as possible because this was ridiculous.

I have never been treated this way by a company representative. I did not yell or swear. I kept my voice at decent volume and spoke reasonably. However, even if I had done those things it would have been inappropriate for someone in his position to treat a customer in such a poor fashion. I have read a number of reviews and complaints about this company and many of them mention Steve by name as being rude and interrupting them and pushing blame off on the customer for the company's mistakes.

I do not understand how someone with such a track record is still employed by that company. I will never use them again and it's mostly because of Steve. The repeated failures of their shipping department are also a big problem that needs to be rectified. They should have done something to make up to us the grief they put us through over those weeks.

I've had the computer itself for a day and at least it seems to work well. I would dread needing to deal with their tech support.

Should you by a computer for Ibuypower.com, make your own decision read the below. Bought on 2/24/2016 returned on 03/18/2016, 23 days from their door back to their door . Update we had to return our computer, even though the computer had problems and we were returning it due to issues we/you still have to pay shipping back. It wasn't like we didn't want the computer the computer didn't work right but we were still responsible for shipping. So beware of that.

We were lucky and we're still within the 30 day moneyback guarantee as it continued to crash watching videos [redacted] the monsters TV show, The computer just kept crashing black screen etc...

Issue number 1 ,When the computer arrived the LED lights had fallen out and we're laying inside the case. We took pictures of the above issues #1 other parts fell out as well.

Issue number 2, The computer crashes goes to black screen and makes a loud noise and other times it just goes to a black screen must restart the whole computer. We were watching the rock San Andreas just a movie on [redacted] and The computer crashed black screen loud noise. We took videos of the above issue #2

Issue number 3, when buying a computer using [redacted] from Ibuypower you must put in your name and Social Security number the way that they collect the information through [redacted] check out only shows up on [redacted] credit even if you have your PayPal account linked [redacted] credit has been aware of this now and it is under investigation to change it. Currently when you buy a computer you cannot do a resolution through [redacted] and [redacted] credit will not link or show on the [redacted] site. [redacted] credit is trying to work on this and correct this issue.

Issue # 4, they have an ( F ) very poor failure, F rating for the Revdex.com, here is the link you can see it yourself, http://www.Revdex.com.org/losangelessiliconvalley/business-reviews/computers-dea... />

we did a lot of reviewing and through the reviews many people have spoken about Robert and had good things to say about him so we used Robert Chen and he was helpful.

We did try the online chat it took a little bit and the representative who answered the online chat session was Robert Chen. They do have a company picture of their employees on their website in the about them section. Hopefully will never have to use support but at this time we are currently unable to give you a solid review on the support because we have not used it yet.

After buying our computer, We received an email auto generated letting us know that Mike would be our main point of contact to the sale. we did called Mike and spoke on the phone we also called Robert and spoke on the phone. We did send both Mike and Robert emails but only heard back from Robert. We're not saying anything bad about mike, we just read a lot of reviews about Robert and people seem to favor him so we used Robert.

Any questions or information we called Robert and he answered his phone and email, Robert preferred to talk over the phone to answer any questions or problems we may have.

prior to buying try to talk to a representative we would suggest Robert, to go over the computer providing suggestions and any last-minute changes that may be needed that may work better for compatibility reasons. We feel that you have to do the research and that they don't want to say they suggested something and it not be a good suggestion based on personal person's opinions and so forth. But this is a good point to stop and check your computer configuration before your final purchase. They will look over your build when it comes in and if there was a problem they will call you if you don't call ahead

TL;DR: computer broke down twice with into 8 hours most of the customer support reps could care less. immature company who hangs up and ignores calls and emails from customers with complaints. NEVER BUY FROM THEM EVER! I WAS YOUNG AND RECKLESS LEARN FROM MY MISTAKES!

So I ordered my pc on January 8th (FIRST MISTAKE) a few weeks later I got it on the 27th

January 27th: booted the pc for the first time running really slow but I shake it off figure its because its booting up for the first time and it just needs to "stretch" a bit. Start downloading steam and installing a few things then I get a blue screen then the computer refuses to boot. Called IBuyPower they tell me that I need to open the case and replug in the connector for the harddrive into a different slot on the mobo(total time the computers been on about 1 hour). Fine I did it booted yay, a few minutes later the slow speed is back but this time it is lagging on simple [redacted] like opening my file explorer or trying to view something on firefox I do manage to play Rocket league for about 30-40 mins (total run time about 2 hours) finish the game. now the desktop is freezing when opening up file explorer its late so I uninstall mcafree(given to me for free by IBuyPower) and change web browsers turn off the pc then go to bed.

January 28th:I wake up the next morning turn on pc refuses the boot up I wait for 20 mins still not booting up I call IBuyPower they tell me to reinstall windows 10...annoyed but what the [redacted] ever if it fixes it then it fixes it 15-20 mins later clean install but not booting. I leave for about 4 hours because I have plans and figured ill just install the games when I get back and its finished booting (total time the pc has been on(shall be referred to as TTO 6-7 hours, total time used or TTU 1 hour). I get back and the screen is black still I check everything and I can see nothing wrong I turn it off and go to bed.

January 29th: call IBuyPower when I wake up tech tells me the video card is messed up and gives me three options 1. give them a deposit so they can send me a new video and ill send them the old one when they get the old one they refund my deposit tempting....but no 2. I send them the old card first and they send me the new one... :/ 3.I send them the whole computer back they fix it for free and send it back to me...fine lets do this they said they will create my label email it to me so I can ship everything back the support person told me what to ship back and what they will do when they get my pc back two important things was send me an email about who is going to fix my computer and what stage is it in during the repair process.

February 2nd: not sure what took so long but whatever I get my email that my shipping label is ready print it out

February 5th: had home pickup package shipped now we wait

February 10th: packaged is delivered I wait a couple of hours for their email... no email I call them to verify that they have my pc, customer support cant find it but ensures me that they have and that I will get an email about it soon like 1-3 days soon (I guess that's soon) thankfully they sent it later that day. It pretty much said the right department has gotten it and they will move on with the repairs soon.

February11th -16th: no emails or anything from them I call on the 16th to ask whats going on. I am assured by a customer support agent that it will be fixed within 3-7 days of them receiving it I tell him that I was supposed to get an email about who was in-charge of my computers repairs so I could tell them personally what I experienced with it. he told me that's not how this works (then why the [redacted] did someone else tell me that earlier?) so I ask him if I can give him the information and if he can put it in my file or something he says sure I tell him a couple of things but the biggest thing I told him was

me: "the computers boot times were extremely long and I had to unplug it and replug it into the mobo so the hard drive might be what is causing the issues."

to which he replied to in a smart [redacted] way.

him:"well.. our technicians will be the ones who determine that." (be calm...be calm....)

me:"fine I just wanted you guys to know what I experienced with your computer."

him: (smart [redacted] tone) "well thank you that but they will figure it out and fix the problem...anything else I can help you with?"

me: "nope that is all."

him: "kay have a nice day."

me: "you too."

February 17th: I am on this refresh button like white on rice checking my email all day 5:00pm no emails 5:03pm "your system has been packaged" me: [redacted] what?

February 18th: it was like 12 or 1am on the 17th "your package has been shipped" me:.....fine.

February 22nd: delivered to my parents house( in college) we live in a good neighborhood so i'm more comfortable with it being dropped off there

February 26th: parents dropped it off (and dried mango's... yay) turn it on booting up fir

I decided to configure a PC on iBuyPower because I was unsure of my ability to build one myself. I chose my components and ordered it with their rush service (PC ships out after 3 business days). When I went to complete the checkout, I was greeted by an error screen. This continued for the next 24 hours, after which I was finally able to submit the order. I was notified in checkout that I would have to have my bank leave the shipping address in a memo on my profile, so I called my bank and sorted it out before completing the checkout process. Two business days later, I received an email stating that further action was required to complete the order. I had to call in and tell them that I left a memo with my bank. One business day later, I received another email stating that a conference call with iBuyPower and my bank was required to complete the order. This very well could have been an issue with my bank, but I was ready to cancel the order at that point. The representative from iBuyPower had stated in the first phone call that it would ship three business days after the payment had been processed, and it had already been three business days since I placed the order. Waiting a week and a half for my PC to ship out after paying over $70 for rush service proved to be too much for me to deal with, so I decided to order the parts and build it myself. The issue with my bank should have been resolved on the first business day after I placed the order, not a week later. I will not be using iBuyPower in the future.

I ordered my build from iBuyapower back in 2014. They could not have been better. I got my rig before Christmas even though I ordered on Cyber Monday. They include so many great additions free of charge based on what you order...The only issue I have with them is that they don't have an online store for parts. I would love to support them by buying treplacements or upgrades without having to order a new rig. If you are in the market for a new PC, please do not be afraid to use this site. My brother-in-law, my brother, and myself have all ordered PCs without any issues.

I bought a PC from here 2 weeks ago. It came out of the box defective. The problems specifically were audio and microphone jacks that didn't work, and even worse, a defective motherboard. I contacted them and they do not cover shipping even if they are the ones that sent you a defective product. Shipping was going to be $200. I am getting a full refund on my product and I am urging others, do not buy from here. They ship you defective parts. If you read other reviews, you will see that it is a common problem. They have no quality control. And then they act like it's not their fault that they sent you a bad product. I paid $900 for this product originally and it was a waste of time, money, frustration, and a lot of tears when I realised that they had practically robbed me blind for trusting their services.

I would like to post a positive review for iBuyPower. Of course, it's usually only people who are angry who are going to write a review about a business on Revdex.com. But that gives an unbalanced view of that company.

I have just purchased my second computer from iBuyPower. I am a repeat customer, in other words. I bought the first one back in 2010, and it was a beautifully made, very stable machine that worked for me like a dream for 6.5 years. In fact, I'm getting a new computer not because the first one died on me, even after nearly 7 years (it's up in my son's room now, chugging along great!), but because I needed a new one for Windows 10, etc.

This time around, my experience with iBuyPower was again fantastic. They answered all my questions (answered by Americans whose first language is ENGLISH), had a great website with awesome customizers for my build, and had very low prices and terrific components and options. They obviously love computers.

The build process was very quick--only 5 business days, and I got one or more status updates on the build every day. The machine arrived in terrific condition, is a marvel to behold (all white metal and blue lights), and was not only built exactly as I'd specified but is solid and extremely fast.

If being a repeat customer after 6.5 years isn't enough of an endorsement, here's my final word: These guys are fantastic and you'll love the computer they build for you.

So I bought a computer about 13-14 months ago and within 6 months a fan had went out. After owning it or another 7-8 months, the motherboard had went out. I attempted to contact them through live chat. I didnt get a message back after waiting 5-10 minutes. I decided to contat them and they said that even thought it was only a month or so over the warranty I was out of luck and had to contact the maker of the motherboard. I explained the issues going on with my computer and why I had thought it was the motherboard going out and the lady I was talking with gave me a effortless response saying "yeah its probaly the motherboard". I was then transfered to someone who again told me that I was out of luck. Overall just wasn't a good experience.

"Few months after receiving my rig, the liquid coolant system and fan started making herendous loud noises. As months went by it happened more frequently and got worse, to the point my system started overheating. After spending hundreds of dollars of my own in new equipment and time troubleshooting, I found the problem: whomever built my system at ibuypower had forgotten to install a bracket on the cooling system and it became loose over time and forced my cpu to overheat. I called Chen numerous times at ibuypower and he was unwilling to reimburse me for having to purchase new thermal paste, cooling system and fans to replace the one with the missing brackets. Negligence on the part of ibuypower, and unwilling to take responsibility for it."
