Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
[redacted] refuses to refund me. She hasn't responded to my complaint of her receptionist refusing to refund my money.  We both were on the phone with the police and I was told my best bet is to pursue legal action in small claims court. I spent 4 days working with Groupon to refund that portion, something the merchant should have handled immediately.  Escalations never happen unless someone refuses to honor contracts.  I wasted my time and money and was never offered a spot check and was violently met with agression when I inquired about what to do now. A swift refund at the time would have ceased any escalations. To not even have a recognition of fault for not attempting to provide a refund and forcing a client to have to do the job of the business owner is poor leadership.

Ms [redacted] was initially referred by Groupon and had scheduled an initial consultation due to an existing health concern. She is administered to chemotherapy on and off and during the initial consultation we established that according to her doctor she was OK to receive Permanent Cosmetics. At...

the same day she was told about receiving a patch test and she said that there is a pk of color done on her body and she has had no reaction to this so we continued to schedule her appointment and with a $50 deposit on file.
The day of the appointment she walked in super irritated and angry. My receptionist was in the restroom and walked out to greet her shortly but by that time Ms [redacted] was very upset. She asked my receptionist to see me and I was in a procedure. I walked out and Ms [redacted] was shaking in anger and accused me that I have mislead her and I should have mentioned about the patch test due to her existing condition. Ms [redacted]'s daughter was with her as well and listening to her other yell at me. The little girl decided to get close to her mother due to her mother raging at me, when [redacted] decided to slam her daughter to the door infront of everyone and yelled at her. The little girl fell on the floor and started crying. Ms [redacted] called me all sorts of discriminatory names.
At this point I refused service due to the hostile and violent behavior especially towards her little daughter. My Client in the chair was a witness and wrote a witness report as well. After refusing her service, Ms [redacted] demanded $350 back, and I said happily!!.. We went to the front desk and it turns out that she had purchased groupon and she wanted the value of groupon back not the actual price she paid. We refunded her $50 deposit back and asked he to get a refund from groupon which was $175. After hearing this Ms [redacted] became  much more violent and loud, she threw her cell phone at my admin, [redacted] and refused to leave and called me "[redacted]". Since the salon was full, I asked her to leave or else I would call the cops. She continually demanded we give her $350 even though we refunded $50.
We eventually had to call the [redacted] Police Department and the witness report was submitted. We also alerted CPS of her daughter being mistreated. Knowing that the COPS are on their way, Ms [redacted] left 5 minutes before the cops arrived.
I have also received a notification from Groupon that she has requested a refund of the voucher. I am not sure how does Ms [redacted] comes up with $202 number in this complaint.
