Regarding the Complaint we received from your side concerning complaint ID [redacted] from [redacted].
margin: 0in 0in 8pt; font-size: 12.8px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;">[redacted] did buy a 2002 Taurus from us on November 28th 2015 at the price of $2000 and it did run well. Her daughter did come on December 13th 2015 to tell us that she is selling the car to Danco for $500 because the transmission is bad and she wants the title. She didn’t request any help at all at this point.
On December 15th 2015, [redacted] writes on our Facebook page, which was the first time we hear about this, we responded accordingly that we will help on the same day. OnDecember 15th, [redacted] passes by at 6:15pm to get the title which as ready. (I figured if she is using Facebook to talk to us rather in person then I will use Facebook as a response). I tell her you didn’t respond to the Facebook reply, do you want us to help (she was in shock when I told her that her daughter was selling the car)… she said I will talk to my husband and then the next day accepted our help. Agreed price was $800 and we would pitch in $200 which we ended up pitching in $350 because the transmission was expensive. We stuck to our word and she only had to pay $600.
[redacted] was with us every step of the way. She knew before we bought the transmission about the 30 day warranty. She went and saw the mechanics on regular basis (You will see that from the texts I attached). I am not going to deny that the first mechanic took forever to get the car in which was not to my knowledge, because she was on top of things but once she told me I moved it to a different mechanic. The first mechanic refused to work on her car because she was rude to him, and yelled at him, feel free to call him at [redacted].
The second mechanic got it done in two days, at night of the second day (check texts) she wanted the car even though I advised her that we want to drive the car to check if everything is done correct but she refused. She picked it up and they came straight to the dealership and her husband was upset showed aggression that he wants to beat me up claiming that car was dented, I showed him the pictures that he did buy it that way , he still stormed off yelling that he will complain. [redacted] calls me the next day and comes over and tells me he doesn’t deal with stress well. She will bring the car over for us to look at it.(that was at night)
She texts me the next day saying that there is a huge puddle of transmission fluid outside her daughter’s apartment and I should call her daughter for the address. So we arrange a tow, at the mechanics shop we find its the power steering that is leaking.  The axle was broke. So I texted her that she will have to pay for the tow and to fix the power steering and we will fix the axle (we figures that the axle might have been us). She replies that she is not going to pay for the tow and she will fix the power steering but I pay for the axle. Which we did a tow of $65 plus an axle $75 that we paid for. She picked up her car and that was it.
We do not hear anything from her and again on Facebook February 23rd she posts a review that she took down (see attached) and again on the visitor’s page being very inappropriate. This time I don’t reply but I texted her trying to see what is wrong and asked her to bring the car in. In the text she said her mechanic only did a tune up and fuel injector, What happened to the power steering? But she declined my request a couple of times.(you can check the time to see that I am not lying). So we replied back to her comment to show people what kind of person we are dealing with and that at no point in time we just brushed her off.
In her desired settlement, I have the texts since day one and you can judge if I ever harassed her or tried to make her remove the post. There is no need for us to fabricate any facts we have the proof. We were nothing but courteous and professional to her needs even though she slanders us on Facebook twice without talking to us. Concerning the receipts, I gave her a receipt of $300 (attached)because she didn’t want to deal with the first mechanic who is very upset that she used his name and his shop publicly on Facebook. Firstly (this is general), when you buy anything do you ask the retailer to see the receipt of where it was bought and how much. Secondly the mechanics made the orders and fixed it, she paid and I paid. I can gladly show her the receipts I get, plain and simple – parts and labor.
ICars Imports will honor her settlement and will throw this matter behind our backs as long as she stops slandering us.
If anything needs more explaining, please feel free to contact us.
PS. attached are the texts between [redacted] and I, and her daughter and I, the Facebook visitor page and the review that she took off and the AS-IS Deal papers and the receipt we wrote her.
Thank you for your time,

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]
I want nothing more to do with this business,(their story changes all the time), although it would have been nice to have gotten receipt for transmission instead of just a receipt what I paid [redacted].  My husband did not threaten to beat anybody up, we  agreed with the scratches because a cheap paint was used to cover them up and the paint was wearing away. I admit my husband was upset, but we had been without the car for over 30 days and it still did wasn't right. He did threaten to let the Revdex.com and State Attorney General know of this.  I was not rude to the first mechanic, he was rude to me and my daughter. Yes, the 2nd mechanic supposedly replaced the transmission with a used one , which I asked for the receipt of that transmission twice and was told that the receipt I got from I-Cars was  for the $300.00 I put down for it was my receipt. There was nothing on the receipt about where it came from, what it cost or a written 30 day warranty.  This is why I say "supposedly".  I never had my own mechanic...I did take it to Bob Sumerill Tire to have oil changed and tires rotated 3 days after purchase. The transmission started leaking after 3 weeks after we purchased the car and we did take it to Danco because it was an "As Is" warranty. That's when we found out the transmission had to be replaced.  We had waited for over 2 weeks for the title of the Taurus and that is why my daughter went to get it and she mentioned the transmission problem and the cost to [redacted] at I-Car, I am sure she was upset and  I was well aware of the possibility of her selling it to Danco, she did not have the $$ to replace it.  As far as the power steering goes...I never paid to have it fixed because there was nothing wrong with it. When we picked up the car at  their 2nd mechanics shop , the power steering fluid as well as anti-freeze was bone dry.  They did add fluid at that time. It ran horribly and the transmission fluid had all leaked out the next day. That is why I refused to pay for a tow. I did get a second receipt for the additional $300.00 I paid to the 2nd mechanic for the install that. They had transmission marked as "new"? Then it started leaking again a month later.  What a joke. As far as "slander" goes...They have a comment/review page on their Facebook page.  I gave my review and comments as to what our experience was.
