Très déçue par le délai de traitement de mon dossier chez ICAS Canada.

Mes documents ont été reçus et validés le 24 avril 2026. Depuis cette date, mon dossier est toujours indiqué comme « En attente de l’évaluation », sans évolution.

Je comprends qu’une évaluation des diplômes puisse prendre du temps. Cependant, lorsqu’un délai de traitement est annoncé, il est légitime de pouvoir compter sur un suivi clair et une information précise concernant l’avancement de son dossier.

Cette situation est particulièrement problématique pour moi car mon EDE est urgente et nécessaire pour la poursuite de mes démarches au Canada. Ce rd a donc des conséquences concrètes sur mon calendrier et mes projets.

J’ai contacté ICAS afin d’obtenir des informations sur mon dossier, mais je trouve regrettable de devoir insister simplement pour savoir où en est une demande dont les documents sont complets depuis plusieurs mois.

Peut-être quelqu’un me conseillerait de recourir à un autre organisme ?

I will keep it short. Just like the reviews before me, I agree with all of those assessments. FYI - ICAS currently have a D- rating with the BBB...wow. This is such an unprofessional and incompetent organization, especially that S. Ledwidge person. Avoid, avoid, and avoid some more. Good luck everyone.

For those who are considering doing an ECA with them, please avoid if you can. I would suggest IQAS or WES. But back to the point, If you email them asking for assistance, they would tell you to read their website (even though the information is not there), and if they do response, it is done so in the most unprofessional way, like if you're bothering them, even though the take your money upfront. Whenever they reply by email, the person writing it, doesn't put their name. This is very sneaky and secretive, almost bordering on intentionally trying to avoid accountability. Very strange organization. Unsure if they are understaffed because it such as terrible place with high turnover, or everyone there is just incompetent, or in fact they are competent but refuses to assist paying customers, which makes that so much worst. Their policy notes they are more than willing to to cancel your application if you are unable to wait due to their lack of knowledge and/or inefficient, but more than happy to keep your payment in full. Some employee name Sarah Ledwidge signs the document and when asked for assistance, you guess it, the answer is essentially go away or straight up no. I hope the Government of Canada reviews their terrible operation methods, and take away their accreditation as an approved agency. I cannot believe anyone would want to be associated with this dumpster fire. Wow, what a time to be alive, eh?

one of the worst experiences I have ever face in my life, no ways to contact them . they closed their phone for inside and outside Canada for more than year and half now.

they don't reply to emails you can send tens of emails without even reply . now timelines . you file could stay there for years

I am beyond dissatisfied, if I could I would give less then 1star. Second time I am trying to evaluate my documents with them and I am not getting any answers, the first time years ago they couldn’t find them, miss-placed them, put them a hold by mistake...after 2 years I asked them back without any evaluation done. I wanted to enrol in ND program in 2019 and submitted my documents again(believing that what they said to me that it was all a mistake the first time and apologized back then) and now I am facing the same thing: my file cannot be traced it says file number invalid, sent several emails to them and even the manager and absolutely no answer- I have original documents, they are not answering the phones and you cannot even leave a voicemail. Not to mention that I lost all the enrolment fees from the college and all the pre-requisite courses I took, even if I made sure that they have enough time according to their website to have my documents evaluated. I haven’t seen any organization this unprofessional. Next step is to take a legal step against them.

If you are applying ECA, please avoid using ICAS Canada at all cost. This organisation does not keep to their words, do not believe the timeline 10 weeks as claimed by them on their website. They change the delivery timeline based on their own workloads (now 30 weeks), instead of keeping their words to you. Email replied from them was simply asking applicant to read their website updated timeline information. Totally ridiculous, made us feel like it is a one man show organisation, severely understaffed, lack of customer service attitude and could not be bothered with complaints. They also mention they are happy to cancel your application if you cannot wait for their slow way of working, but they will not refund your money.

Just remind those who needs their credential evaluated before you choose ICAS please read the complaints and reviews here first. On ICAS website it says they will take 10 weeks to complete the evaluation. But it actually took me half a year to get my evaluation report from them even I told them several times my deadline day I need. It proves ICAS does not respect their clients and wastes client's time, money and chances.

when I applied to evaluate my certificate, ICAS customer service tell me that the preriod for 10-14 weeks and according to that I paid the charges CAD 280 and after 3 mounth I ask about my evaulation the customer service tell me the period changed to be 23 weeks
it is not logic to change the rols without notification or approval from the customer
