[redacted]Subject: Response to complaint #[redacted]   [redacted] Marketplace Operations: I am writing in follow up to a registered complaint with your bureau.  The ID # is [redacted].  It was regarding a flashlight returned to the manufacturer that did not work when I brought it home. The company I returned it to went out of business in January 2015.and was taken over by another company.  Today, I received a call from [redacted] at the new company.  She was most apologetic and explained the situation and that they did not receive my return in the process.  She is sending out a new flashlight like the one I returned, and another flashlight of my choice for the inconvenience that was caused by the former business. I accepted her apology and am told the flashlights will arrive late nest week. I hope this gets to the appropriate person listed above. I had a hard time finding an email address on your website to send this follow up to as requested in an email I received 5-22-2015 from Ms. [redacted]. Thank you for helping me to resolve this issue.  It was greatly appreciated. [redacted]

Review: I bought a Garrity flashlight. The batteries have died and I need to replace them. I can not get the flashlight apart in order to get to the batteries. The battery compartment will not unscrew. They will not respond to my complaint. There is no model number on the light but it is black, 4 inches long and 1 inch in diameter.Product_Or_Service: Flashlight

Consumer's complaint was received via e-mail on 6/10/13. Since the inquiry was regarding instructions on how to open the flashlight to access the batteries, it was determined that the consumer would be better served by a return telephone call to identify the model, walk through/trouble-shoot while the flashlight was in his possession instead of attempting this process via back and forth e-mails. A message was left in this regard on 6/12/13 at the telephone number included in the consumer's inquiry. A return call had not been received so another message was left on 7/17/13. A follow-up e-mail will also be sent for the consumer to contact us by telephone for assistance in resolving the issue if we do not hear back within 48 hours.

Review: I bought a flashlight Jan12, When I got it home and went to use it, it did not workThinking it may be a battery problem, I inserted new batteriesIt still did not workI followed the return to manufacturer instructions on the package and sent the whole thing to ICC Innovative Concepts Corpin [redacted] on January 13, I enclosed the packaging the product came in and my store receipt.I have NOT heard anything from the companyWhen looking them up on the internet it does not give clear responsible company contact information on how to contact themIt seems very deceptive.I have read your reviews on this company and noted you have had success in getting the wrong righted.Please help.Desired Settlement: I paid, with tax, $total for the flashlight and think it would be fair to get that returned to me from this companyI would ask for the priority postage I paid to return the item, but I am aware a customer is usually responsible for thatI do not want a replacement as I don't want to have to go thru this again
