Review: I am the owner of a cell phone repair business. I order parts frequently for repairs. I have ordered multiple (100) iphone screens from this business. Some of the screens are defective as is understandable. I have attempted at least three times in the past to return the defective parts to the business. Each time the owner ([redacted]) has stated that his "techs" saw other issues that would void the warranty and refused to replace the defective parts. Out of all of the 5-10 supplier I use, this is the only company that makes excuses to NOT honor their warranty. The latest issue I was told that the warranty would be honored IF I purchased additional parts. When I informed Mr. [redacted] that I only wanted the replacement, I was then told that the warranty would not cover the parts due to the parts being damaged upon their arrival to him. As stated, this is the only company that this has occurred.Desired Settlement: Refund

Mr [redacted] from "ismartrepairs" has purchased from us around a dozen times and does not think that policies and rules apply to him. Our return policies are clearly stated on our websites and are industry standard. In Mr. [redacted] case, 2 of the 4 screens that have been returned are in perfect working order and the other 2 are physically damaged because he decided to return them in an envelope. Call me crazy but I think sending back fragile glass/electronic components in an envelope might show the ignorance that we're dealing with here. Please see attached photo of what Mr. [redacted] from ismartrepairs thought was acceptable to return and then felt entittled enough to write this waste of peoples time. This is the type of customer that we do NOT want anyway and we are glad he has shown his true colors and ignorance. Please note the "broken frame and prongs" that the subject has thought was an acceptable return. Some people just feel the world revolves around them and they do not have to follow rules like the rest of us.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

The items were in fact packaged in bubble wrap and then sent back in a bubble envelope. The prongs on the sides were not damaged when they were shipped. This is the same thing that Mr. [redacted] did upon another return several months ago that he did not honor then as well. He has since stated that he would be in the process of "slandering" me due to the fact that I filed the complaint with the Revdex.com. Had the screens been in working condition they wold not have been returned. Mr. [redacted] has a track record for this type of shady business practice. I have researched and found multiple complaints from other repair facilities with the same exact type of denials for returns. For the record my name is not [redacted].
