Review: iCity Repair was referred to me through [redacted] for a cracked screen on my iPhone. The cost was $240 and the work was done fairly quickly. The repair is given a 30 day warranty. Less than two week after the repair, the glass peeled off and had a small crack in it. I immediately called the [redacted] Mall location where the work was completed. The main office is in Edison. I was told to bring it in and they would take care of it. Then, later in the day, I called Edison to see if I could take it there since it was on my way home. I explained the problem and the gentleman told me that since the work was done at [redacted], the warranty is valid at that location. I called [redacted] back and spoke to a woman this time and explained why I was coming in and asked how long the wait was. She said over 1.5 hours so I told her I would be in another day. She stated that as long as it was within 30 days, I was fine. I went 4 days later and was greeted by the same young woman who handled my repair. I was told that I would have to purchase new glass. I asked about the warranty and they said it wasn't valid for this. The screen is literally OFF the phone and this was 2 weeks after the repair. They texted some anonymous person and said that there was no way I was getting a replacement. I told them this was completely violating their 30 day warranty and they laughed and stated, "good luck".Desired Settlement: I will never let these amateurs touch anything of mine again. I would like a full refund. I'm positive that a replacement glass will only fall off again and that the workmanship does not stand the test of time. Apple will not even repair it for me now since they touched it. Verizon Wireless had sent me to them and now I'm left with a broken phone. They 100% violated their 30 day guarantee. I would have been happy with a replacement when I visited their [redacted] location.
