Used the app to get parking at 1 Astor Plaza location for 3 hours $32. Did this at 4pm and saved. The cashier punched in the code and said it was not valid for another 30 minutes and we would have to wait. ARE YOU KIDDING? We paid $59 to park. RIPOFF!

Review: On November **, 2015 I picked up my vehicle from the location at [redacted] near the theatre district. My wife inspected the car and noticed it had been backed into something damaging the rear bumper. Initially, the manager tried to tell us the damage was already there showing us a forged ticket however I had just picked the car up from having it newly painted and know there was no damage. They also tried to send us off without filing out a damage report. We insisted that one be filled out then and there. After sometime and argument, the manager finally said ICON parking would pay for the damages, a conversation my wife got on tape.

I got, all together, four estimates. Two of which included replacing the bumper since it had been cracked, and two to repair the bumper at ICONs request. ICON after sent an independent adjuster (who retired three days after the inspection) and came up with a very low number of $619. This number I did not agree to because it was less than any of the estimates and did not cover car rental for the time it would be in the shop. They, nonetheless, sent a check anyway with "The acceptance and endorsement of this check constitutes release of all claims against Park Serv LLC." The check has not been cashed and is still sitting in my drawer.

I have attempted several times to have this matter resolved and been shut down each time. They tell me the check came from the insurance company (it did not) but refuse to give me the name of the insurance company they are dealing with. They also say they can't send any more money because I accepted the check. Opening a piece of mail, and accepting, endorsing, and cashing a check are two very different things.

All I want is to have my car fixed and for the rental to be paid for. There is no reason for me to be out even a penny for damages they are liable for and admitted to.Desired Settlement: The business is liable to repair the bumper and have it repainted, as well as pay for the car rental while the car is being repaired.

Review: I happen to park my car in the icon parking at 1:50pm stayed till 3:45pm. Thats less than 2 hrs. When I came back I saw that they charged me for the over 3 hrs fare/charge when I asked why they said I came at 12:35pm I told them impossible I had just left home at that time. When I demanded the punch in card when you hand in to redeem your vehicle. That piece of paper suddenly disappeared and they were saying you didnt give it to us. I told them, then how did I redeem/picking up my car. All attendant moved away and disappeared into their offices and would not want to talk to me.Desired Settlement: 10-15 dollar is not important but its the principle and I want the company to be aware that some of their employees tarnish the companies Principles. Id like my refund because it could do some good to a homeless person.

Review: I secured an online coupon from proprietor's website, http://www.iconparkingsystems.com/, on May * for a pre-paid reservation. The total cost on the emailed receipt was $35. Proprietor charged my credit card $40. Then, when trying to collect my vehicle on 5/** at [redacted] location, the date of my reservation, I was at first told all was well. A short time after, a garage worker chased my car down [redacted] after departing the facility, and yelled at our vehicle saying the coupon had been rejected. The garage worker tried to tell me I had purchased the reservation from [redacted] (I had not, and showed him the receipt), then told me the company's coupons were subject to change. This is not mentioned anywhere on the receipt. If Icon Parking Systems is going to offer online reservations and bills itself as a convenient way to park in New York, then it needs to honor its online promotions, bill customers accurately and train its staff in how to better serve customers.Desired Settlement: I would like the charge reflected on my card to match the receipt I was given, $35 - a $5 refund.

Review: The garage has consistently damaged my car for the past 3 years.I self park in the garage and my spot is near the attendant's"lounge". They broke the passenger side mirror which I had fixed myself. Most recently I filed a claim for paint damage and body dings and did receive a check within the past month.Last night I discovered that the Mercedes hood medallion wasbroken off the car. It was on the car when I used it on 12/**and on 12/** it was not and the car had not been out of thegarage since 12/**. I have repeatedly complained to the daymanager who denied it has his workers. The building is a Mitchell Lama co-op and I own the spot and the garage is "leased" to Seaport Parking. Previous garage operator neverhad these issues. I will be filing another incident report, butthis is bad management that does nothing about their bad employees.Desired Settlement: I want a new parking spot away from them. I want to be reimbursed for the cost of a new medallion plus labor to install.I want the Management to take seriously what type of employeesthey have. They are destructive.

Review: I'm a paying monthly member for my car at the Icon Parking garage located at [redacted]. On two occasions dents have shown up while parked in this garage. I've filed the necessary incident reports that the garage gave to me, and both times have had zero followup. This latest incident I approached the garage manager after 5 days of waiting for them to call me, and he was confrontational, blaming me for the dents, and calling me a [redacted]. This is certainly the worst customer service I have had. I'd like to have the dents removed from the hood of my car.Desired Settlement: I'd like them to either reimburse me for the cost to have the dents removed (probably $250), or to just have them remove the dents on the hood their parking attendants made.
