Mrs ***,As Mr*** stated, we did agree to have the repairs taken care of with the stipulation that we use the reputable companies that we endorseThat was unacceptable to himMr***'s claims are a bit exaggerated, some of the damages claimed were not visible to the eyeWe strive
to make all of our clients happy and last year we did over moves with complaints to Revdex.comWe were willing and able to take care of Mr***'s issues but he objected to using our service providersIn his objection, we made it clear that we would not be paying for the services that he took it upon himself to scheduleUnfortunately I am at a loss on what it would take to completely satisfy this client. Thank YouJoe ***

*** ***---Hello, Ms***,Thank you for addressing this issue so quicklyBelow are my answers to your questions.- Has the company addressed the issues of this dispute? They did address the issue early on by refusing to comply with our requestAfter we first raised the issue on Janand Feb5, we received a letter (attached) dated February 20, from an attorney for Jeffers Moving & Storage Company, *** ** ***Mr*** said his client would not concede liability for the damage, because “the items were appropriately prepared for shipping and should not have sustained any damage during transitObviously, they had no control over the shipment after it was turned over to ***.” On June 7, 2017, we send a letter (attached) through my attorney *** *** to Mr*** (which was signed upon receipt) explaining that *** refused to take responsibility for the damage due to insufficient packagingWe provided documentation from *** and resent photos that refute Mr***'s statement that the boxes were “appropriately prepared for shipping." To date, we have not received a response from Jeffers Moving & Storage since we sent our June letter.- If not, why?I do not know why Jeffers Moving & Storage nor their attorney have not responded to our June 7th letter.- If an offer of resolution was made, has the company fulfilled the proposed offer? To date, Jeffers Moving & Storage has not made an offer to pay to repair the damaged items, although they are not demanding that we pay the packaging service cost of $(see attached receipt.)Thank you for continuing to look into this casePlease let me know if you have any further questionsI have attached Mr***’s Febletter, our follow up June 7th letter, and Jeffers’ receipt.*** ***###-###-####

We professionally packed the items in question. After packing, we delivered the packages to the [redacted] store in [redacted] Cincinnati Ohio where the client had made arrangements for shipping. Said boxes were clearly marked FRAGILE. The client was advised explicitly several times to insure her...

items given the occasional horror story you hear about parcel delivery companies.

We will replace the mixing bowl and provide a replacement remote control for the television. We will be in contact with her today 11-14-17.

Mr [redacted] implies that our claims are "exaggerated".  I am not sure how he would know this, as he never came to our home to view the damage.  I have attached three photos as examples of the type of damage that our furniture sustained during the move.   They are definitely visible to the eye and by my standards not insignificant.  Based on our moving experience with Jeffers Moving and Storage, we could not trust that anyone they identified would repair our furniture  in an acceptable manner.    I am  not sure why he objects to reimbursing us for costs that we incurred.   He asks what it would take to resolve this situation to our satisfaction and that is reimburse for the repair costs and payment for the new step ladder that I have to buy, since they lost ours.
