Dear Revdex.com Thank you for your letterWe sold Mr [redacted] an engine back in 2010, Which means the engine is years out of warrantyHe did bring the engine back months agoThe engine was full of waterWhether is was rain water or the boat's bilge water was allowed to back up into the engine was not ascertained, however the engine was contaminated and had to be torn down and cleaned, reassembled and testedThe motor was returned to Mr *** Mr [redacted] contacted our company a week ago and was told he would have to return the engine to us for inspectionWe do not reimburse for outside laborMr [redacted] needs to bring the boat to our offices at Harrisburg blvd so we might have to opportunity to inspect the engineThank you for your assistance in this matterPlease contact Rick for an appointment at 8888RegardsSkip [redacted] ICT Engines Inc

Dear BBB Thank you for your letter Ict strives for customer satisfaction and works diligently every day to ensure our quality in our products. We have responded to [redacted] ***... [redacted] was advised he needed a clutch at the time of motor installation and he refused to replace it. A missing cap on the reservoir would not have caused his clutch to fail. The clutch had already failed before bringing itt to ICT for repair. If he would have replaced the clutch and it failed he would have had a legitimate claim. The clutch was worn completely out and would not function properly once the motor was reinstalled. Mr [redacted] truck is old with a lot of hard miles put on it. It needed a lot of maintenance which he refused to approve.We asked Mr [redacted] to bring the truck back to ICT so we could see what he was talking about. To this point he has refused. Dear Revdex.comMs *** received a year warranty with the engine.The *** quote was for the long block only installedIf *** would have done the motor install and she would have purchased all the accessories she approved The bill would have roughly been We are very busy and we can only
estimate, not guarantee time of completionThe warranty does state that the customer is required to change the break in oil at miles Then at 1500, then change your oil on a regular basis from there on outWe apologize that it took a little extra time to complete the work but we do our best to make it rightWe hope this clears things upIf Ms *** or her husband have any questionsPlease contact Derryl *** and he will be happy to address any issues they may haveWe feel we can work this out over the phone easier than via emailI am willing to offer them their first oil changes free of charge if they will bring it back to our place of business.Thank you for bringing this to our attentionRegardsSkip ***
