Regards,

The Explorer Insurance basically demanded payment that I never owed,we already agreed to cancel the policy which why they (Explore Inc.) sent me the CANCELLATION EMAILS and CANCELLATION LETTERS. All of a sudden they put a bad credit on my profile which ruined my credit and ruined my life without me knowing. This is unacceptable.

Review: Explorer Car Insurance is refusing to be courteous enough to reverse this cancellation fee for me when other car insurance companies were courteous for me before without any problem. I was not able to contact this company because I was too occupied with trying to figure out why my car was not even starting, and how I was going to get it back to running in the amount too large that the mechanic shop was demanding, and having to fight with DMV because after I got through paying them a large amount of money and continued my registration, DMV revokes the registration I had just paid for, for not having insurance. I tried working with [redacted], supervisor of collections for Explorer Ins and sent both her and my car insurance broker copies of my Senators help in resolving the unnecessary red tape bureaucracy regarding my being treated poorly and being fleeced and now Explorer is fleecing me further. Desired Settlement: For [redacted] to reverse the $26.70 since I tired working with her and sent her more than once ample documentation resting my little resources you can contact [redacted]/ Supervisor collections at [redacted].

Sincerely, [redacted]Sr. UnderwriterExplorer Insurance CompanyF. [redacted] ext. [redacted]E. [redacted]Policy Number:Revdex.com File Number:[redacted]I am writing in response to your request for assistance from the Revdex.com regarding your Explorerauto policy. On June 9, 2014 you purchased an annual policy effective June 9, 2014 to June 9, 2015 through Auto InsuranceSpecialist LLC, a broker selected by you for a total amount due of$539.80, including fees. We received yourdown payment of$35.66 with your application, leaving you with I I installments of$45.84 beginning June 24,2014. Your first billing notice was mailed on June I 0, 2014.On June 25, 2014 a Notice of Cancellation was mailed to you as your payment of $45.84 was not received onJune 24,2014. The notice informed you your policy would cancel effective July 6, 2014 at 12:01 A.M. if yourpayment of$45.84 was not received prior to the cancellation date and time.On July 7, 2014 a Cancellation Memo was mailed to you to advise of the cancellation on your policy effectiveJuly 6, 2014 for nonpayment of premiums as we did not received your first installment of$45.84. The premiumfrom the effective date of your policy June 6, 2014 to July 6, 2014 was a total of$62.36, including fees. Wereceived a total of $35.66, leaving you with a balance of $26.70. Your Cancellation memo advised you of theunpaid balance due if your policy was to remain cancelled and also included two reinstatement offers. On September 18, 2014 you spoke with our collections representative and a collections supervisor, who advisedyou of the balance due for the time that you were covered with Explorer Insurance. Erin, the collectionsupervisor, explained to you that Explorer could not waive the outstanding balance and in order to backdate thecancellation of your auto policy, you would need to provide proof of a non-operation filed with the DMV, orevidence of liability insurance with another carrier during the time your Explorer policy was in-force.On September 26,2014 your broker sent Explorer a copy of the letter you filed with the state legislature's officeregarding your dilemma with the DMV. However, we advised [redacted] at your broker's office, this was notsufficient documentation as we require proof of evidence ofliability insurance to backdate the cancellation ofyour Explorer auto policy. On November 12,2014 your broker forwarded a copy of your DMV notification of Registration suspensiondated January 31, 2014 notifying you, your registration would be suspended effective March 6, 2014. The noticealso states that once the suspension was in effect, you would need to show proof of insurance and pay a $14.00reinstatement fee. This document was not sufficient to back date the cancellation of your policy; in fact, itshowed that your registration was cancelled three months prior to the inception date of your Explorer policyeffective date. On November 14,2014, our collections supervisor advised you that the DMV document was notsufficient to back date your cancellation date of your policy. In your request for assistance, you mention a cancellation fee, however; there was no cancellation fee chargedon your policy. Please see the attached itemized account breakdown. If you had insurance with another insurance company during the time you had coverage with Explorer duringthe policy period from June 6, 2014 through July 6, 2014, when your Explorer policy was active, please providea copy of the declaration page(s) or a letter of experience to my attention for further review. If double coverageexists, your Explorer policy will be amended and corresponding credit, if any, will be applied. We hope this correspondence resolves your concerns with Explorer Insurance Company. Review: My fiancee, [redacted] and I, went to ASAP Auto Insurance on 6/5/2014 located at 1320 Rosecrans Ave. Gardena, CA 90247. The broker's name is [redacted] that we talked to. [redacted] said that our payments would be 133.66 per month. I paid 235.00 right then with my debit card. She tried to run the card and it wouldn't go through, although I had a lot of money in the account. She said sometimes the machine is goofy. After a few more attempts, she said it went through. She said that we would get an invoice for 7/20/2014 that would be due by 8/5/2014 and after the 5th, late fees would then apply. July 4/2014 we got a cancellation notice saying that as of July 3rd we were cancelled for non payment. We called [redacted] after the 4th of July. She said that our payment for initially getting the insurance did not go through and we had already left her office. She said that she had been trying to call us. My fiancee, [redacted] asked what number she was trying to call. [redacted] recited a number that did not belong to us. [redacted] looked up the area code for the number and it was for New York. We live in California. We then went into [redacted]'s office. We paid another 133. 66. to make sure we were covered. We do not know where she got a number with an area code for New York. We made sure she changed that in the system. However, she also had our email addresses and we did look and there was nothing from her in either email. She said we were all caught up now and we do not understand how we would be behind in the first place as per her statements in our first encounter with her. We keep getting cancellation notices, every month since then. Even though we pay every month on or by the first. Our rate has gone up from 133.66 to 149.00 and some change. We asked why this is happening and each office, between ASAP and Explorer tells us a different story. ASAP says it's Explorer's fees and Explorer says it's broker fees with ASAP.Desired Settlement: We would like this adjusted to the 133.66 we were initially told we would pay monthly. We found a different Insurance company where we would pay 109.00 a month. Due to Explorer saying we did not pay February's payment, which we did pay it is on [redacted]'s bank statement which was paid electronically from her account to Explorer prior to 2/1/2015 and processed by Explorer on 2/3/2015. The new insurance company we want to go with, said it would cost a bit over 200.00 to start up with them due to Explorer showing that we did not pay for February. If Explorer fixes the issue, it would be the 109.00 and a 20.00 fee for cancelling Explorer Insurance. There is a lot more to explain since this has gone on now for so long.

Review: On 03/18/2013(monday) I called the explorrer Ins. to file a claim my vehicle that is insured with them was damaged after been parked at the LAX parking Lot, the person on the phone gave me the claim number: [redacted] comprehensive damaged and refered to 03/15/2013 as the date of loss. On 03/19/2013 Mrs. [redacted] came by in a Century 21 van and took a some pictures of the vehicle and took off. I asked around in some body shops for oral estimates on the cost the repair of the damage and rough estimates fluctuated around $5000.00 dlls. To properly remove some kind of chemical that is cracking and eating thru-out the vehicle plus the dents and scratches all this caused on this incident. Later on 03/26/2013 I got an estimate from the insurance for $1972.23, I called the insurance and They told me that they go by what their expert tell them, and asked if I had a written estimate of the amount, at the moment I didn't so on 03/27/2013 I took the vehicle to a collision repair center and they gave me a written estimate for 7832.09 plus, to properly repair the damage. Then took it to another shop and got the same answer so when I called the insurance again the adjuster just make fun of me and refered me to her supervisor but instead they went cold on me for weeks; no answer to my calls left msges no answer. one day I called and talk to a man He just laugh at me, and again no answer for weeks. until one day I got this call from this lady named [redacted] and told me that She was going to take care of Me and my claim so She asked for my airline tickets (why?)I faxed them the tickets. On 05/16/2013 She called and said they only going to send me a check for $1022.23 I told her that doesn't cover the repairs properly, so She said I'm going to send somebody to as the damage. On 05/20/2013 I got a call from [redacted] saying he is coming from more than 200 miles away when in reality is only 140 from his webpage. To begin again He is lying. and he is listed as a professional witness for legal cases.Desired Settlement: Stop going around and instead of spending all the money trying to avoid their responsibility pay for the repairs. but now the trust is broken so I can't say pay the money because they are going to say that is what I want nor trust that they are going to pay the shop after the repairs are done. I would like to get an arrangement to resolve this matter.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

May 31 2013 4:27 PM CLAIM: [redacted]

To: [redacted]

To: Revdex.com

To: whom may concern:

I just hanged up talking to [redacted] with explorer ins, Co. after receiving letter in the mail and made it clear to her that I’m fully cooperating with them for the resolution of my claim because in it, She makes it look like I‘m not cooperating. Since the beginning of this claim I made my statement of what I know about the incident.

Like they state in their letter in their own words “pursuant the California code of regulations they have 30 days to determine this claim” IT HAS BEEN WAY OVER 30 DAYS JUST TO RESPOND TO ME, THIS HAPPENED BACK IN MARCH 15 2013 THIS MAKES IT ABOUT 75 DAYS OR SO. they’re trying to make it look otherwise.

It took the Insurance company weeks to just answered the phone and never responded neither to my messages other than making fun of me then [redacted] called me and took over; and now they trying to make it look like I’m not cooperating, that; is completely false. (All this after I refused to take their check that it wasn’t even close to repair ½ of the damage sustained)

I requested a copy of the contract where specifically states what they are requesting because according to what their letter says “(“2. A person seeking any coverage must:

A. Cooperate with us in the investigation, settlement or defense of any claim or suit;")" so far I have fully cooperated with them to the best of my knowledge and accordingly to the time given for the situation (I have a life to live I can’t put it on hold just because they don’t fulfill their obligation.)

All this done in the best communication possible and with the respect that I can, even do is more than 75 days. Now that they pointed it out.

Regards,

Business

Review: I have documentation that I canceled my auto service with [redacted] on the 10/31/2014. They tried to delay it with some made up rule, that clearly isn't stated anywhere on website or else where. They have sent me multiple bills saying that my account was closed on different days. IE (one document says the 4th, one say the 1st etc). In addition all the papers that they sent me have different amounts.

I talked to the staff on multiple occasions. A majority of them were rude. The last person I talked to was a supervisor on the 6th of november. After dealing with her rude worker who stated they received it on the wrong day etc.. She too stated the rule and I stated that I closed on the 31st and said I had documentation stating that I did. After a while of going back and forth about it she went into her records and saw that I was right and told me she would make the changes to said account stating that I didn't owe them money. It would be set to zero etc.

I get another bill stating that I owe them money. But it was sent before we talked. I come back from a business trip and I get another bill stating I owe them money.Desired Settlement: Close out my account and put it to zero. I don't owe you money.
