Review: ID Booth has a judgment against my husband for a debt he and another business partner created in 2006 when they were in business. The judgment also created a lien on our house, which is titled in both my husband's and my name, even though I had nothing to do with the original debt. The business partner has no interest in helping to pay business debts even though it was a 50/50 partnership. For 2 months I've been trying to contact the owner to get an exact amount owed to to request either a settlment amount or a payment plan. He avoids my calls, emails and letters. 2 weeks ago during a phone call he said it would probably accept $2000 toward the approximately $3150 owed. Today he emailed me telling me since we are trying to sell our house, he'll just wait until we sell our house and can pay him the full amount. Only we can't sell our house with this lien against it. It seems that he is enjoying the fact the account is accruing interest and he now has no intent of settling for the $2000 he stated. I've also asked him to give me the exact amount owed in writing and asked if we could set up a payment plan. Egain, he is not responding to any of my requests.Desired Settlement: I am requesting the verbally stated settlement of $2000 Walter stated to me in a phone call 2 weeks ago, or provide me with the exact amount owed and accept a monthly payment plan we can both agree to.
