Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Scandia is missing the point My issue with them is they advertise Free shipping but never tell you there may be restrictions ( heavy weight item) until you are checking out The heavy weight shipping fee would have been applied to each item, as I was hoping to purchase several featherbeds from them If I had known from the beginning that all shipping was not free I would not have spent so much time on their website I believe they should have to state that that there are restrictions on the "free shipping" statement The customer service agent just kept saying there is "nothing I can do" and there "is no one else here you can talk to today"She was quite short with me when I challenged her about this and asked to speak with someone else, I guess that is their idea of treating a customer "very well"She did call me back to say she would wave the charge, but as I told her that was not the issue it was misrepresenting the "free shipping" statement that led me to believe there would be no additional fees so other customers would not be misled as I wasMy plan was to purchase one featherbed for myself and if it met my approval order three more for each of my grandchildren, so the one time fee waiver would not have resolved my complaint I did tel the CS agent this on the phone I expect TRUTH in advertised specials or at least an explanation of what is subject to additional fees up front rather than spending my time selecting products just to find out there are additional feesIf the law doesn't hold merchants to this standard than I guess I am subject to the integrity of the merchants I buy from, I doubt that Scandia will be among this group [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] Regards, [redacted]

I received a letter concerning heavy weight shipping charge complaint from Vicki Thingvold through Revdex.comI have attached screen shots during order processing that state heavy weight change of $but through all they list no charge under shipping cost Last screen shot is cartThe standard shipping was at no charge for shipping but a separate line states heavy weight charge of $ When this customer called customer service my agent went over the details with her The Customer didn’t place the order and said she was going to call the Revdex.comI am sorry this turned out this way If a conversation goes wrong with a customer you have to do all you can to keep it positive My agent handled the call very well I have attached the phone conversation alsoIf the customer is interested in giving me a call we would waive the $heavy weight fee given the complaint No one wants bad publicity over this issueI can be reached at 608-791-my name is [redacted] ***.I hope this matter can be closed quickly with no repercussion to ScandiaLet me know if I can be of further assistance [redacted] Scandia Down, [email protected]
