I contacted this business because they sent a bill to the wrong insurance company and when I tried to resolve it they are defiant and won’t fix the problem they have created. So when I tried to talk to a manager after talking to the finance lady she was very rude and gave me bad attitude from the beginning. After I told them what I needed done or what they were supposed to do they refused and are not trying to fix my insurance on file. When I told her I will come in to resolve it with paperwork proof that it should go to the other insurance the manager said she would call the police on me if I came in. I have not made any threats to anyone and just want my bill to go to the correct insurance so I don’t appreciate her telling me that she would call the police if I came in to try and resolve it. I also told her that I won’t be able to pay the bill until they can fix it in their system and send it to the right insurance company and she proceeded to threaten me some more and said she is just going to send me to collections.

I spoke with *** after *** was yelled at by her. She was incredibly aggressive, yelling and saying the F word among other offensive words. I have 2 recorded conversations with her to verify that we tried to speak to her but she talks over us, says rude comments, and is screaming and yelling. *** spoke with *** and verified that we billed correctly. Tricare paid 100% of the claims except $76.49 that was applied to deductible. The balance on the account is $76.49 not $505.00. We did everything correctly and verified that with *** at ***. We have 2 recorded conversations with her, as well. *** was told that the account that dates back to June would be sent to collections because the deductible is hers to pay and she would not accept that answer. We love our job and our kids/parents, we strive every day to give the very best care possible and we do not deserve to have to take such abuse from someone. I've been doing this job in this office for 18 years and have never been spoken to the way *** spoke to me last night.

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:

I think that we should receive copies of those conversations with both *** and her to show that they would not listen to what I was trying to tell them from the start and to also show how rude she was from the beginning and wouldn’t even hear me out. She says that I talk over her when she did the same thing when I was trying to explain that that bill was not to go to champva or tricare and that I had given her the new insurance policy and phone number with the authorization code. I need them to redo the bill because I am no longer using *** for the child that the bill is for. With both my other children they have had the same appointment at the same time as their brother and it always goes through the *** of salt lake. For her and *** to tell me no no no and not try and fix their mistake, then make me out to be the bad person in the wrong is ridiculous and not right. I am the customer it is my child, my insurance and my right to use whichever insurance I need.
Both *** and the manager could have helped me with what I need a different way and dealt with my annoyance and anger with them in a different way. It’s called customer service for a reason. I asked for them to fix it multiple times and they tried to make me fix their mistake. It’s not my job and not my mistake. So for them to just gang up on me like this over something so simple as to resubmit a bill to a different insurance is very petty. It’s their job and that is all I have to say.

If the Revdex.com would like to hear the recorded phone calls we are happy to have one of their representatives come to our office. *** and I both heard *** out but she wouldn't accept the answers we gave and was verbally abusive. The insurance authorization number was for *** only, not the baby. This came directly from *** at ***. We haven't made a mistake. We've confirmed that with ***. Tricare did pay the claim, there is a small balance left now, as I said in my last response. The last time both of her other children were seen in this office was in 2015 which was prior to the baby being born this year. We never billed *** for them either. ***'s statement is false. We have no desire to "make *** out to be a bad person". We in fact, have been slandered by her online and now with the Revdex.com.

We bill insurance as a courtesy to our patients. If they perceive that there is a problem with the way a claim is paid it is their responsibility to discuss that with their insurance company. *** was asked to communicate with ***, they would have been able to tell her that the claim was paid correctly, just like they told us when we called but she refuses to do that. However, in hopes of appeasing *** we have sent the claim to ***. They've informed us that it will be denied but we hope that will help *** move past this issue.

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me Since they are sending it to the other insurance like I requested in the beginning. If it is denied they must have changed their policy and coverages within the last few years that I have not been made aware of.
