I understand fully what I signed. In the original complaint I stated that. My problem was before handing over the application and signing, I was reassured by one of their workers that I would be fine. I explained the eviction and court proceedings as well to the staff member up front. She told me I should be fine. I can read the fine print just fine. I do know some rental companies make exceptions which is why I proceeded with the application and paid the fee. I am more upset because I knew exactly what unit I wanted to rent out and was told that it was a 3 bedroom and really it was only a 2 bedroom which was another lie told by this company. I really believe they are scamming people with this process. This just doesn't make any sense and I want a REFUND!!!! Its not my fault that I was told differently! smh

for our rental unit.  In accordance to our screening criteria, Ms. [redacted] did not qualify because she has an eviction within the last 3 years and was placed in collections, for a large amount of money, which resulted in a judgement against her, that is not satisfied.  She did not meet our screening criteria.All applicants are required to read and sign our screening acknowledgement form before applying with us.  I've attached the signed form with Ms. [redacted]' signature.  The form states that there is a non-refundable $20 application fee for everybody over 18 years of age.  The form also states that applicants will be denied if they have any type of money judgements to a prior landlord in the past 3 years.Unfortunately, we will not be able to refund Ms. [redacted] application fee.If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact me directly.Warm regards,[redacted] L.Manager
