Tell us why here...The Guest checked inon 8-07-for a night stay( original booking with confirmation #***)The Reservation they made for Saturday August 8th was made on April 5, at 2:08PM was changed on April 5, at 2:13PM to arrive August 13th so in fact they did not
have a reservation to stay on 8/8/15….so Requesting service for cleaning on the following day, 8-08-around pm was not possible as we didnot have them staying the night My Director of Sales, *** *** went to the guest room on Saturday morning to advise they did not have a reservation for 8-08-but we did extend the guest another night in the same room and at a lower rate and accommodated their requested cleaning time.The guest did come to our front desk on 8/8/to inquire about their return trip on 08-13-We did in fact have their reservation which was communicated to them (confim # ***)If you would like copied of their reservations showing the booking and changes I can send confirming the above.The guest did inquire about a lost jacketThe jacket was not in our lost and found and we doubled checked the room. We communicated to the guest we did not have the jacketOur front desk agent, *** ***, did not say we had the jacket in the back office but in our back office was a thin black shimmery jacket turned in earlier in the week but was not this guest’s jacketOver the past years of operation we have hundreds of lost item secured and returned to guest. We have not at any time in our history found an employee taking a guest itemMy room manager, maintenance manager and housekeeping manager did check for any mold shower issueWe did not find mold

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I reject their response.  Of interest, in their response is the first time they acknowledged having my jacket, a black shimmery jacket.  This was a Misook jacket valued at $400.00, not replaceable.  What they state is the jacket was not mine?  If not mine, how did I know to describe it and now where is my jacket?  (previous discussions regarding the jacket are in the original complaint which they always stated they never had the jacket).  Very suspect. As far as the other issues, [redacted]. did come to our room on the 8th, not in the morning but only after I called for the room to be cleaned which was 3:00 pm.  Then [redacted] came to the room stating we did not have a reservation for the 8th.  I went to the front desk and showed them our confirmation for the 7th, 8th and 13th.  The mold issue is just another issue that I believe no one  that I talked with regarding these three issues  takes responsibility for honest responses and of course I would be upset continually having such poor service along with the “missing jacket”.  Now that they do acknowledge the jacket was there, they are responsible for compensating me for them losing it or someone took it from their back office.

Mrs. [redacted] is not correct on the booking she made. It was a non-refundable reservation made on the OTA site Booking.com.  The amount of $530.08 was charged.  When Mrs. [redacted] called booking to cancel she was told it was non refundable ( it's a great value with significant discount which is...

why the restriction).   When called we told the Booking.com person we would not refund but made note that Mrs. [redacted] could use the amount as a credit towards a future stay this year.  We did not have to offer this. Mrs. [redacted] file a credit card dispute and she lost as we submitted the documents.  She file a complaint with the AZ Attorney General which we have also responded to.

This charge by Sedona Rouge Hotel was not an authorized charge. I had booked one room that was refundable through Booking.com.  Their General Manager, Ed C[redacted], claims 1/2 hour later, I booked another room that was non-refundable.  I DID NOT! Nor did I ever receive confirmation of this second charge.   It doesn't even make sense as to why I would do this.  Mr C[redacted]'s letter claims "Mr and Mrs [redacted] booked 2 reservations for different room types".  First of all, my husband was never involved in this booking.  Secondly, the booking I made was for me and a girl friend, two people, to go to the Spa. Thus the request for 2 queen beds in one room.  Booking.com, has recommended the hotel refund this disputed charge and Mr C[redacted] has refused. He said I could use the $530.08 amount as a credit for a future stay.  That is not the point.  I never ordered this second room, therefore, I should not have to have $530.08 waiting in their coffers in case I want to come someday in the future.  He has stated more than once 'what a good deal this is".  It's not a good deal if I didn't order it.  I originally sent all this information with copies of letters/etc. that shows this in formation.  Please let me know if you need anything else.This is a fraudulent charge. [redacted]. Mrs.'s [redacted] is not corrrect.  The $530 charge was upheld by the credit card company where she made her initial dispute.
