Thank you so much for your help in resolving  my dispute with Ideacom ecsi. Mr K[redacted] called me Monday 02/27/17 to see if we could settle this matter. I agreed to pay for the equipment that I needed and eight hours of tech time. Ideacom picked up the equipment that was not needed and I gave the tech a check for $1366.07. The tech hours were billed at the $90 rate which I agreed too.   Thank you so much for your help. I do not believe that I could have settled this without your help.   Sincerely,   [redacted]

Dear [redacted] I agree with [redacted] on the basic points of her story, we did agree on a price to upgrade data hardware in her office. While on site, Kurt K[redacted], my technician and [redacted] main point of contact through this project did make suggestions on additional items that should be...

replaced. She agreed to replace those items as we ll. Per my conversation with Kurt, [redacted] did not ask for an estimate on the time it would take to complete the additiona lwork. In response to our labor rate, we increased our labor rate in 2008 to $90/hr. We do charge $65/hr for basic PC repair, everything else we do telephone service and network support is billed at $90/hr. We are in line with the current rates for similar services in our market we are actually under market rates for some of our labor rates. Similar companies charge $125- $150/hr for network support labor.   I apologize that [redacted] had to help Kurt run the cable, he does not lack agility, he is six foot six inches tall and the space in the attic was very small. Kurt said [redacted] offered to help.   Since Kurt K[redacted] worked closely with [redacted] on this job, when the billing questions first arose, we asked him to engage with her to resolve the issues. The last three times he called,2/6 at 4:20, 2/6 4:55 and 2/7 at 12:14, [redacted] was not available and did not call him back. He did try resolve the issue in good fa ith. During Kurt's the last call, he and [redacted] discussed reducing the number of hours by half, cutting the labor cost to $855. I agreed to that reduction, but [redacted] never called Kurt back after he tried three times to present that offer to her. To resolve this quickly, Iwould accept [redacted] settlement to pay for the hardware $1731.88 + sa les tax and 9.5 hours of labor at my PC repair rate of $65/hr = $617.50. Total bill would be $2,453.29 including sales tax. Sincerely, Jeremy C K[redacted] President/CEO

I am rejecting this response because:  The major issue is the labor cost. My original quote stated a "Flat Fee" for Cable Run in bold letters. The rack and shelf that I'm being charged for appear to be over priced and really un-needed. I assumed that because there was no stated labor that the cost of the equipment was inflated to absorb the labor. The most upsetting thing for me was the bill for nineteen hours. Mr  K[redacted] was not in my office for even half that time. I did not return the calls to Mr. K[redacted] because I was told that the owner would be contacting me. When I did talk to Mr. K[redacted]  he did not have the authority to make adjustment to the bill. I did agree to purchase a back-up that did not work, and I would like to return. I pay for everything but that. I hope the ill will is worth $617.50.
Sincerely,
[redacted]
