Ideal Cars & Trucks Reviews (1)

This lot has no morals, I am a single mother barley making ends meet. When I needed a car I decided to go to all about cars and spoke with Dez who sold me a 2004 Jetta. I drove it off the lot and 2 days later I brought it back, I said it was shifting weird on the freeway and I couldn't figure out why. Dez drove it and came back saying that it shifts different because its a turbo. He told me if it gets worse to bring it back, 2 weeks later is started getting worse and worse I brought it to a mechanic and he said it might be the catalytic converter but he would keep my car and find out. I called the lot and spoke with a man I assumed was the owner asking if he would help since I had not had the car very long and I brought it back after the 2nd day he said he would help with some of the cost. The mechanic told me when driving it he could tell something was wrong but there were no codes so he couldn't tell for sure. I took my car back and after a few more weeks I brought it back when the light came on (at this point it was so bad I couldn't get on the freeway) the mechanic checked it again, the transmission was bad it needed to be completely replaced and the codes had been cleared before so he was not able to see them. The transmission for my car used is 2,700-3,500 since my warrantee only covers $3,000 I was determined to find a shop that was not to much over that. I went to 4 different shops and finally found one that had a good warantee on their transmission and they would be able to do it for 3,850 which I didn't think was that bad because just the transmission was 3,200. I had $600 which was all of my savings I applied to the balance I was $250 dollars short I called the lot to help me out because he had told me before he would. Dez told me to go to their mechanic and he would do it for 3k. I called the mechanic did not speak English and had no warantee on the used transmission he was putting in my car (the last thing I needed was to trade one problem for another) and my uncle who is a judge found that the mechanic had 3 pending small claims cases against him from previous customers and had horrible reviews saying he scams people. I did not want to bring my car there, so I called and told Dez I wanted to bring it to my mechanic and I would need their help with the $250 left over. I have called twice every single day for the past week and no one will return my calls, not one call back and no one wants to address this problem. I went to the company and the owner wasn't there so there was nothing they could do. I have tried so hard to just get $250 dollars from this lot for help with a car that's transmission went out 2 days after I bought the car and nothing. They just completely ignore me, now I have to go get a loan to pay the $250 I am short on repairs in order to get my car. DO NOT GO TO THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!! They buy their cars from auction do not have them checked at all and even if a problem arises immediately after they will do nothing to help you in any way they will ignore you until you go away. I am so disappointed with the moral value of this company. ","neg-1
