The customer service was terrible and the service was even worse. The representative spent a total of 5 minutes at my apartment building and totally misdiagnosed the situation. He then wanted to charge me overtime to fix it after a 5 hour delay in calling me. The neighbor called Mr Rooter and had it figured out in 20 minutes! I know now who to call.
I WOULD NEVER recommend this company, can't believe they are preferred on Home Advisor. I put in a request for a plumbing job at my home and several were referred but first think Monday morning I received a call from this Plummer Enterprises. The guy said he was in the area and could stop for an estimate. Not finding that totally unusual, he stopped that morning to see what I wanted done.
After showing I wanted a new faucet installed because the one I had was dripping. I PURCHASED the new faucet and he implied the water would have to be shut off and because of no shut off valves under the sink, he would have to replumb the water lines. I asked if that could be done today and he said yes and would go to his van to figure and estimate. I also showed him a running toliet and asked for an estimate on that.
He came back in and the figures threw me for a loop. He said the sink faucet would be $ 582.00 because of the water lines and the toliet was about $ 350.00
to rebuild the tank. I said you have to be kidding....
In the past two years, I had another plumber come out to fix a clogged kitchen drain and he charged $ 220.00. That is why I had no idea what they charge and even today in this crazy market.
The big job took him under two hours and after I suggested shutting off the water under the sink, he was done in less than two hours. I was very irritated at
the price vs. the time of the job.
The next day, I called two other plumbers to get and estimate and one I remember saying that is less than a two hour job so the price would be between $ 150.00 to the most of $ 200.00. Was I ripped off.
Tried calling the company and they never returned my call and Home Advisor did little to try remedying the matter. Nothing has happen and Home Advisor didn't even follow up on this. I used a credit card and I have informed them also.
