I placed the lab work on hold immediately after the visitIdeal Dental can simple confirm or deny that this is not the caseThe work was not provided as specified by staff at the time of the visit“A different process” was never disclosed or approved by either my wife or I? Due to this, the dental work was placed on hold and we sought a second opinion from an alternate provider and later decided to not continue with Ideal Dental.The amount in question has not been refunded to usThe credit card dispute was contested by Ideal Dental and continues to be investigated and waiting a final determinationSince the credit card dispute was contested by Ideal Dental this makes the assumption that Ideal Dental believes these charges are validThis complaint is broader than just the charge to our credit cardIt involves insurance billing and having to pay another dentist out of pocket for work that Ideal Dental claims to have completedThis complaint has a simple option for resolutionIdeal Dental can confirm or deny that the services and lab work that was originally discussed was either completed or not completed? We have received the above referenced customer complaint and appreciate the opportunity to respond.? Ideal Dental of Euless takes pride in our customer service*** *** *** came to our office? for dental treatment on 12/22/*** *** *** performed ? an exam on *** ***Based on? his diagnosis, the tooth required a root canal and permanent crown*** *** review the treatment? in detail with the patient and explained ? the two step processOur financial coordinator then also? explained the treatment plan to the patient.*** *** came back to the office for the procedure on 12/29/? At this time *** *** was? not able to proceed with the crown*** *** suggested to treat the tooth with a root canal to? relieve *** ***’s pain*** *** explained to the patient that the root canal therapy by? itself would be a temporary solution and *** *** would still need to proceed with the crown? placement in order to complete the full restoration of her tooth.In addition, there was limited tooth structure remaining thus creating the necessity of a permanent? crownWith the limited amount of tooth structure remaining to secure a temporary crown, *** ***? felt it was best to perform the root canal and not place a temporary crown*** *** reviewed? and signed the consent forms and proceeded with treatment of the root canal only.When *** *** returned to the office on 2/26/16, she had lost more tooth structure*** ***? performed a buildup on the tooth to support a future crownHe did not feel that a *** ***? required a post to further build up the tooth at this time.We at Ideal Dental of Euless feel that we provide the highest quality of care for our patientsIn? an attempt to assist *** ***, we reached out to her in order to proceed with her crown? fabrication as to ensure more tooth structure would not be lost*** *** then informed the? office that his wife did not wish to continue with the fabrication of her crown on 3/1/At this? time, we expressed our concerns for the patient should she continue further without a permanent? crown.*** *** reviewed the procedure with the office staff and with *** ***As the specifics of? anatomy are different for each individual *** ***’s case requires a different process than? what would be considered as the standard process due to the lack of tooth structure present.We strive to ensure all of our patients are pleased with their outcome and dental careWe? understand she feels that she paid for procedures not performedShe contested the charges to her? credit card and on June 6, the funds were withdrawn from the Ideal Dental accountThe amount? paid has now been returned to her.Therefore, the office did provide a refund for the services *** *** paid to her credit card.? Since the complaint is financially driven we are asking that you remove the complaint as we have? been instructed that the Revdex.com only addresses complaints regarding poor quality of service and not? financially motivated ones.(Additional response ??" After additional review of her records, we were able to confirm that the? crown was not fabricated and will not be charging her or her insurance company for the services in? question.Additionally, we have reached out to our merchant services provider and we were assured the funds? for the contested credit card payment were removed from our account to be returned to the patient.? As such, Ideal Dental has achieved the resolution requested by *** ***Since *** ***’s? desired resolution was provided, we ask that you close the complaint as settled.Should you require additional information, we will be happy to provide it
