To Whom It May Concern: Ideal Dental Roadrunner has received the complaint letter dated 9/29/from your office and as such our response is as follows: Mrs*** *** was seen in our office on 9/6/where she had a full comprehensive dental exam including x-raysThe doctor's findings as
a result of the exam where as such that Mrs***l was in need of a "Full Mouth Debriment" aka FMD (***, Mrs* *** claims that the doctor told her only part of her mouth was done are untrue and unfounded as are the claims that the Office Manager was the one to clean her teeth, our Office Manager does not clean teeth nor is she certified to do so, as such we believe Mrs*** is mistaken in her accusationsAs for payment, Mrs*** was given a discounted rate for the services she received, therefore her OOP cost were a total of $49.20, the remaining cost of her services were billed to her insurance company, ***On 9/26/we received an EOB from Mrs*** insurance company stating that she does not have benefits or coverage allowed for the FMD (D4355), as such Ideal Dental Roadrunner did not receive payment for services rendered outside of the $that Mrs*** paid while in the office on 9/6/2017, because of this there is an outstanding balance on Mrs*** account of $98.40, Ideal Dental Roadrunner is happy to forgive this balance on Mrs*** account and make no attempt to claim fundsThank you for your time and attention to this matter, should you have any further questions please feel free to contact our office at any time

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: Dr. [redacted], D.D.S. is lying. The series of event that occurred were: 1. Photos and x-rays were taken 2. Dr. [redacted] came in, looked in my mouth then spoke with me about the photos and xrays 3. The dental cleaner asked me if I wanted my teeth cleaned that day I said yes and she proceeded 4. After the polishing Dr[redacted] walked in, used his dental scaler and poked between teeth the lower right central and lower right lateral teeth, the lower right central and lower left central teeth and the lower left central and lower right lateral teeth. He then said the debridement is complete, you're done and walked out. 5. I then got out of the chair and walked to the front desk. At the front desk present were the receptionist, the accounting/billing coordinator [redacted] and another patient that had just had treatment. I questioned [redacted] regarding the large charge and said he only did 3 teeth. She got up and walked into Dr. [redacted] office. He came out and I asked him about the charge. He said it was for a full-mouth debridement. I said "But you only did three teeth" at that point in front of the Receptionist, [redacted], the girl that cleaned my teeth, another patient that had just had treatment and another patient in the waiting room "What? Did you want me to do the entire mouth???" rudely. [redacted] took off part of the charge and told me that they were getting another dentist that Tuesday and should come back to see him next time. The procedure was coded and billed as "D4355" which is only used in order to facilitate the examination of the teeth. See code explanation below:[redacted] is: full-mouth debridement [redacted] is done to enable
comprehensive evaluation and diagnosis. The gross removal of plaque and
calculus that interfere with the ability of the dentist to perform a
comprehensive oral evaluation. This preliminary procedure does not
preclude the need for additional procedures (as stated in the CDT
2011-2012).My evaluation and diagnosis were done in the beginning of the appointment, see above numbers 1 and 2. The debridement of the 3 spaces was done in the last 5 minutes of the appointment, not to evaluation as I and my insurance were billed for. I expect full-refund for monies paid or will move forward. I am not mistaken in any way regarding the situation. But if you're sticking with the lie I fully expect you to bring every picture taken of my teeth to court so the dental expert I've spoken with can view them and discuss if there was a need for debridement at all. I would also like to request the number for Ideal Dental's corporate office.Regards,
