Alex at Ideal Energy was great to deal with from the installation of our new AC unit right through to warranty work. Excellent communication throughout the process, well organized and friendly. Highly recommended.

I had 4 estimates done before going with Ideal Energy. Instead of just quoting to replace the existing 5 ton unit, Alex did an analysis to determine that I really only needed a 4 ton unit. They were very competitively priced, professional, and courteous. I would highly recommend this company, and already have to a couple co-workers ;)

I put off doing this for a few years. I had an energy audit in 2011 and knew that my house built in 1978 needed work. But I thought it would cost too much and wouldn't make a big difference. I was wrong on both counts. The guys at Ideal Energy increased my attic R-value from about 10 to 38 by added insulation and fixing my air vents. Now my AC runs about half as much, my house is cooler even at the same thermostat setting (78 deg.) It stays cold at night with hardly any AC running. As an added benefit, my house is so quiet now, it seemed like my ducts used to rattle. And the cost was less than half what I expected to pay! They started at 6:00 am and were finished (including vacuuming) by 2:00 pm.

I really cant say enough great things about Ideal Energy is genuinely an amazing company to work with! The quality of their work, their staff, the time that they spent to 'do the job right', the entire process was a genuine pleasure.. A little bit of a backstory, I currently have my aunt living with me, she is terminal with stage 4 cancer currently under hospice care, and is extremely sensitive to temperature. No matter what temperature that I set on the thermostat during the summer, my air conditioner just.. couldn't keep up, it would run nearly continuously only cooling down during the night, I was prepared to purchase a new AC unit, to spend whatever it took to help keep my aunt comfortable during her final stages of life. I was put in contact with the right people (Ideal Energy) who after conducting an energy audit, determined that I didn't have enough insulation in the attic, that my return duct was disconnected from the AC unit (essentially it was refrigerating 130 degree attic air no wonder my AC couldn't keep up with the demand), and that there were some airflow issues throughout home. I informed them that due to a change in my aunts condition, my aunt was at a hospice facility (to assist with getting her pain levels under control), and she was scheduled to come home the following day. Alex & Elena @ Ideal Energy went above and beyond and were able to squeeze in getting the the work done before my aunt got home. Since the audit, and duct repair & insulation, not only has my aunt been able to be comfortable, but based on the energy use patterns I am expecting to have a 35%+ savings per month for my HVAC needs. I am very pleased with the work Ideal Energy did. They were very professional and courteous. When having our evaluation done I was concerned that they would be telling me things that needed to be done that did not. Their evaluation came with pictures and explanations of what they found and their proposal to address the issues. I have a friend that designs AC systems for businesses. I had him look over their work and he agreed with all of their proposal. This made me comfortable that I was not being taken. We had the work done a few weeks later and all was done in one day. The difference in the comfort of our house is amazing.

I can't speak highly enough about Alex and the Ideal Energy team. Since purchasing our home 2 years ago we've had many crews come out to work on our home for various projects and hands down Ideal Energy tops them all. The attention to detail and thoroughness truly is superb and makes a huge difference. The measures taken for cleanliness and cleanup is just one of those things where detail comes in. But most importantly the scope of the work and implementation of the project was exactly what I was looking for. Analytical in nature, I waffled back and forth on who should win our business but Alex's patience, willingness to answer questions, and involvement is what sold me. You get what you pay for and I couldn't have asked for more. I had what I feel was a complex project involving many components and it all came together nicely...I'm sure I will appreciate it even more come summer when it is 115 degrees out. The report(s) and documentation provided of the work done and diagnosis speaks volume of the pride and confidence they take in their work. I felt comfortable working with Alex and the project manager Chris and would encourage everyone to take their time and do the homework. Bigger isn't always better and Ideal Energy gives you the attention you deserve.

We recently did business with Ideal Energy and I felt that we needed to share the positive experience because they were so great, honest and accountable. In an industry that not many people know about, it's intimidating making an investment but they were so helpful and educated us along the way and even offered to come back to "audit" their own work after 6 months and a year. Good companies should be recognized for their honest work!

No contractor or work crew has come close to [redacted], [redacted] and the Ideal Energy crew. Their study and work is amazing. Communications on the phone, in writing and in person were second to none.
The day they finished their work work, we were feeling the difference in our home. Two months later, we are seeing the difference in our bills being lowered. And our home was in a "good to very good" condition.
Ideal Energy replaced insulation, duct work and installed an air return. The crew was polite and efficient. As a self proclaimed neat freak, I was impressed with their attention to detail and cleanliness.
