He needs to get organized and my sales person will call me to let me know when the work will be doneAt the moment I am satisfied. My complaint was not responded to within the very reasonable 30 day window. In fact I had to file a small claims lawsuit (which cost me an additional $140) before Ideal Fence finally returned MY MONEY after nearly 6 months. I was not reimbursed for the additional $140 so no I do not accept this response and consider the matter closed.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  We have resolved our complaint with Ideal Fence of Madison, but in no way does that make ok for the way they treated my family.

Review: On 7/30/15 I paid a 60% down payment ($1,920) to Ideal Fence LLC for installation of a 6 foot cedar fence for my backyard. I was given an estimated installation date of 5-6 weeks. After 14 weeks passed, absolutely no work had been done on the project. The installation date was repeatedly pushed back and I was given four specific dates which were all no call/no shows. Due to the delays and lack of communication I requested a refund from the owner Scott [redacted] on 11/6/15. Scott told me he would refund my money and call me the following week to let me know when the check would be in the mail. After numerous unanswered phone calls, the last contact I had with the company was a voicemail I received on 11/17/15 from Scott which said the latest I would receive the refund would be Saturday 11/21/15. It is now 11/29/15 and I have yet to receive a refund.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund of $1,920 immediately.

Review: My wife and I signed a contract with Ideal Fence on August 4 and we were told it would be 4-6 before they would start. Mid September we had not heard anything so we called Ideal Fence and left a message about when they would start. The next day the owners daughter called me back to tell me the owner had been in the hospital and had not been able to work. She said it would be another 4-6 weeks before they began. After 6 weeks I called again and left a message about when they would start. They said they would start the following Tuesday. They came on Tuesday and put the posts in for the fence. I am well aware they could not finish the fence the same day because the posts need time to set, so I figured they would be coming back in a few days to finish the fence. That Thursday I called back and left a message for when they would be coming back to finish the fence. I received a call the following day from the owner stating he did not know for sure when he would finish the fence, but it would definitely be during the next week. I waited a whole week and called back again and left a message about when they would be finishing the fence. I called again on Saturday of this week and said I would be reporting a complaint to the Revdex.com on Monday(today) if I did not hear when they would be finishing the fence. In the message I told them how important it was they finish the fence so I could weather proof it. I did not hear from them today, so I am filing a complaint.Desired Settlement: I would like for my fence to be finished in the next week and if it is not I would like my money back.

Review: I paid a 1100. deposit for a wood privacy fence a month ago ,and was told they didn't know when the fence would be installed because of an illness. Called them 6 times that I want my deposit back, we are going with a different company. No one has returned any of my calls and have not received our deposit.Desired Settlement: refund

Review: Signed contract for new fence 8/27/2015 and paid deposit of $3700.00 that was cashed 9/24/2015. Estimated installation to begin in 8 weeks. Keep trying to contact contractor but phone just goes to a fax line. Finally reached contractor 12/8/2015 who indicated he had back spasms but would start fence within 2 days or refund deposit. Work has not started and phone again just goes to a fax line.Desired Settlement: I have totally lost confidence in this contractor and do not trust his word. Since I do not believe he intends to honor this contract, I would like an immediate refund so I can get the needed fence installed by a different contractor.

Review: A down payment for a fence was paid with a promise of 4 weeks to delivery. That was July 27, 2015. Ihave called several time only to be told various excuses that it is not going to be done. This week I tried again and the phone is not in service. I called [redacted] the person who I contracted with and told they will not be able to do the fence do to problems. I want a refund of my 1, 600.00 down payment.

I am notifying you as I am not confdent that I will receive my refund. I am sending a letter to the Ideal Fence and will CC Revdex.com.
