I am the new manager. I bought a caliper and the consumer picked it up. We got the consumer his title.

Good afternoon,  Ideal Motorcars would like to respectfully respond to this complaint filed.  We would like to note that at the time of the sale of this vehicle the dealership encouraged multiple test drives and taking the vehicle to a mechanic for inspection, if the customer would like....

 We encourage these practices with all our customers in order to offer as fair and transparent of an experience as possible.  At the time of sale there were no present issues noted by either party.  Additionally, a warranty was offered to the customer on this vehicle however it was declined.  Since all vehicles sold by Ideal Motorcars are sold "AS-IS" we encourage warranties as a way to offer the customer additional protection.  Despite all this, we do understand that sometimes unforeseen issues arise with used vehicles.  Taking this into account we did offer the customer the option of getting the car repaired at a shop we frequently working with.  This shop was able to quote the customer at a much lower total repair cost than he was originally quoted.  Ideal Motorcars was more than happy to extend this dealer discount to the customer. This proposition was declined by the customer, stating the amount was still to high.  We hope this helps clarify our side of the situation and look forward to a resolution soon.  -Respectfully, Ideal Motorcars Management
