In April Ideal Plumbing Heating Air and Electrical replaced our furnace and installed a new HVAC system with ductwork The weather hasn't provided us opportunity to test the new system fully, but we were pleased with the service, workmanship, and price At our very first contact we were informed that we could save significant amounts by waiting for off season discounts Of the estimates we received, Ideal's was the only one where the cost of permits required by the city were included in the cost and not optional It also included Manual J testingIdeal's estimator was the only one to tell us about California Energy Upgrade Rebates With all the rebates, which required a lot of testing and paperwork on the part of Ideal, we were able to get a very efficient system for not much more than less efficient systems
Ideal's workmen were professional, cleaned up after themselves, didn't use bad language, seemed to work well together, found solutions to the problems in my quirky old house

Over the past years I've written several negative Yelp reviews about Ideal Plumbing, expressing displeasure with their pricing on parts and service for my own home
After a period of time elapsed after I posted the latest review on Yelp, I decided to give Ideal another chance and called them for an appointment to repair a bad faucetTo my amazement, they said they will not give me service unless I change my review on Yelp! I told them I stood by my Yelp review and see no reason to change what I've written
So I had to find another plumber
Today I received a phone call from tenants in my rental home who informed me Ideal refused to give them service because of my bad review on Yelp
Ideal knew I own that house, so my tenants were denied service because their landlord gave Ideal a negative review

We had a major water leak in our front yard so had to turn the water off Ideal sent someone who assessed the problem He showed up the next morning and had it repaired in three hours

We had this company to our house to fix a plumbing issue The plumber arrived at 3:pm and left at 5:pm However, he billed for arrival of 3:and departure of 6:pm This resulted in a charge of min of time where the plumber wasn't even out our residence We called the company to get clarification on the charge They informed us that due to the plumber coming from home, we are charged for the time it takes him to travel to our residence The bill clearly states "arrival time" and "departure time" Therefore, their documentation is incorrect and resulting in inappropriate billing

I've been using Ideal Plumbing for a number of years - for my residence and for rental property I give the company the highest possible recommendation - stars for sure

Our neighbor suggested we include Ideal Plumbing Heating to the list of companies to consider when requesting bids The work was for heater replacement and new air conditioner Obviously they were selected and did a magnificent job including all of the duct work throughout the house (about sqft.) The work was performed in March of and they provided a full crew of very professional men who explained what they were doing every step of the way Cleaned up every day too Follinstruction to use the equipment was very complete and easy to understand Great company

I just had an extremely positive outcome with Ideal Plumbing I have an older home and their technicians have an in-depth and knowledgeable understanding of the mechanical equipment in my home Their technician found the problem with my HVAC unit, ordered the correct material and arrived early for their scheduled appointment to repair it It was done on time and was completed in a professional and workman like manner He cleaned up behind himself and I am totally pleased with the repair I have used Ideal Plumbing for many years and they have never dissappointed me in any way Thanks IDEAL!
